This heavy duty, 8 piece set of Cr-MO steel jumbo 6 point impact sockets in one inch drive by TONYNOL is an amazing addition to my mechanics tools. These are exactly what I need to properly maintain my backhoe and other equipment. I have just been using large adjustable wrenches up until now, but this set makes it so much nicer and more convenient. I love that they come in a nice heavy duty case as well, which keeps everything together for easy access when I need them. The price is right for this quality set of tools. Really nice 1” jumbo socket set! The case opens to reveal solid well made industrial grade sockets in an assortment of sizes. These are perfect for working on the Tractor!Each one has its own little home nested neatly in the case.The size assortment is good and the sockets feel very strong. These are in inches not metric. These do weigh quite a bit. The case has a good handle but they are a bit heavy.

I got this 1-inch drive jumbo socket set for heavier jobs where regular socket sets are not even in the conversation, and the actual sockets are pretty impressive in use. The set is shallow, which is nice when you do not need deep sockets and want a little more control around larger fasteners. The sockets feel heavy, solid, and properly sized for impact use, and the 6-point design gives a good grip without feeling sloppy on the fastener. I also like that the sizes are clearly marked, because with sockets this large it is annoying to keep test-fitting when you are working in the garage or around equipment. The case is useful too, especially because loose jumbo sockets are not something you want rolling around in a drawer or on a shelf. Performance-wise, I really do not have much to complain about, because this feels like a capable specialty set for large SAE fasteners. The downside is the price, which feels pretty steep for an 8-piece set, especially when there are other large impact socket options out there that make this one harder to justify unless you specifically need this exact shallow 1-inch drive size range. Overall, the sockets themselves are good and the set works well, but the value is the part that keeps me from being more excited about it.
