Almost 5 star. Unfortunately I did not see it noted in the description but there are no holes in this product to secure it to a wall. Make sure your cut is perfect and tight. I siliconed mine into the wall opening. Other than that, good product.

These are inexpensive, easy to install and you can paint them with standard latex paint to match your wall. Great access point for installing behind tub and sink walls to work on plumbing.

We had our bathrooms redone and had to get into the wall to change our very old shower plumbing. The plumber got into the wall with a minimal hole. We paid the extra charge for him to tear into the wall and me being the cheap person I am decided that if we ever needed a plumber again we would not pay again for that portion. This keeps me from having to do that. We painted over it but the access panel allows for access without compromising looks.

Installs like a dream. Nice, hinged door which is removable while working inside the space. Inobtrusive appearance, and it's paintable, if you wish. No screws required; just adhesive needed. I used it to access the shower/tub controls from the rear. Really helpful when doing an R&R on the control cartridge. The 12"x12" door I purchased allowed be enough space to add pex valves/shutoffs. You won't be disappointed in the quality.

I ordered two of these for some plumbing valve(s) access. They are higher quality than what can usually be found at the local box stores. The hinges are a plus for sure. Given one of them was installed to allow access to a main water shut-off, I installed a knob handle given opening them in an emergency could be a worry given you need a flat head screwdriver or similar to open. No matter, I think they are great.

works great. I had to cut a hole in my drywall ceiling in basement. These are better and easier to install then patching the drywall. Plus you can get into the hole again.

This is a pretty simple access panel to install, as long as it's going into open sheetrock / drywall (where you don't have a stud right at the edge of your opening. I like that it hinges and it's made of a decently thick plastic so it's not flimsy at all. Occasionally it was a little hard to open, but I'd rather have that then it falling open on its own. A simple butter knife into the seam helps to pop it open (just make sure it's the correct side you're opening and not trying to pry open the hinge side). I'm very pleased with it.** Please note that the review had an option for "adhesion" and I gave it 5 stars--it DOES NOT come with any adhesion; you have to caulk the back and press it against the drywall. Once you do that and let it sit, it adheres really well. I'd recommend white or clear caulk, as the product is white and will look better.A Recommended Buy

I had a plumbing leak that consisted of sheetrock holes in 3 places. Instead of having the painstaking work of repairing the holes, I just put in 3 of the 12x12 access panels. They worked beautifully. They fit tight enough, so I really didn't need to use the adhesive. They are white, and that matched my trim, so I didn't even need to paint them, but you can. They looked perfect and professional. I am a 70 yo lady, and the 12x12 hole I cut wasn't perfect, but the access panel with the frame around it hides it well. I love that I have easy access to those plumbing lines, but these look nice enough they could be used just to hide damage in sheetrock. Also, the price on Amazon was so much better than I found locally.
