Bench Vise

Well made great value

I was expecting this vise to be lighter weight BUT No! This is a heavy weight, well built vise that offers both Clamp and bolt on mounting, PERFECT!

Whoever designed this must have need a vise for whatever. I found that the vise mounts to the draw bar that you use to pull trailers with. You can mount the vise to the bar and your good to go lol.

This small 4-1/2" vice is pretty nice for smaller, "light duty" work in your garage. The portable clamp is handy but it will not hold in place well if you are doing something like hacksawing through a piece of pipe or something along that line. For that you will need more stability by bolting it to your bench. I think the swivel "tightening" bar that locks the vice in place could have been made with with a little heavier lever as mine has alreay begun to bend a little tightening the vice in place. For the most part I am satisfied with it and I think it will be fine for doing what needs to be done in a small home shop.

I clamped this vise to my roll-around work bench and have used it almost every day since!I did buy some nice magnetic plastic jaw covers for holding some items, but this really is a quality vise.I carefully lubed all moving parts because that's what I do...

This product works perfectly on my tool bench.
