I tried opening ladder for two days and finally realized there was plastic on feet. Very sturdy. Takes up little space because it folds flat.

This sucker is tall, and allows my wife to reach the high books. I'm only giving it 4 stars, because even though it says it will hold my weight, I don't feel comfortable on it. But my wife has no problem. It folds up tight and easily. A good value.
