I just bought my first home and I’m 69 years old. My second bedroom is dedicated completely to my granddaughters and I’ve always wanted a chandelier in a girls room! It is absolutely beautiful! And it it’s a dimmer. It gets very bright, and it could dim all the way down.!

Absolutely beautiful crystals are really high-quality and it comes with a dimmer. It was easy to install and all we needed to do was plug it in. We did go to the hardware store and buy extra long chain to drape it across the ceiling so that you wouldn’t see a wire, and it was more of a decorative white chain. I never leave reviews, and I thought this was worth mentioning.

Was very easy to install. All the little extensions were easy to drew in. The install to hang the light was super simple. Clear instructions. Definitely love the look.

The finish of the gold was surprisingly good. It’s a brushed anodized metal and the finish on the black pieces is good, too. I was surprised to see plastic sockets — that’s a first for me. I wonder how they’ll hold up, but in the absence of any issues, I’m not complaining (just wondering).There’s one significant design flaw, though. On a swag fixture, the cord is meant to run through the entire length of chain. Here, there’s no way to do that, and the instruction never mention the chain. Looking at photos, people are simply running the chain next to the cord. Super tacky. If you really want to to do right and swag the fixture with chain on the entire length of the cord (as it should be), there is no way to do it — the plug is naturally to big and the dimmer is way way too big.I did find that by unscrewing the top nut, I could get to the wiring, but because it’s an LED fixture, it’s not a normal wire it connection. It’s at moments like this that I’m happy I married an electrician, because he is going to cut the connections, string on 15 feet of chain, and redo the connections for me (thank you, Honey). Adding an outlet where the fixture needs to go isn’t an issue because this is a house a family member is renting. My alternative would have been to run the cord along the ceiling and wall like other reviews show and cover the cord with Wiremold, but then we lose some of that midcentury charm.If you’re looking for a swag version of this, I don’t see other options that address this issue, so this appears to be as good as any. Either get a lighting store or licensed electrician to help you with the connection so that you can properly add chain, or cover the cord either way Wiremold (and adhesive channel that covers the wire and can be painted to match the ceiling and wall.I kind of hate when a simple thing turns into a project, but this fixture is pretty cool and the price was a bargain, so it will be worth the effort.
