This gate kit is one of the easiest ways to build a sturdy gate with relative ease. Even without directions, this kit makes building your gate a simple task. The included angle brackets and hardware make building a gate extremely easy. The kit itself is very rigid and allows you to build a wide variety of sizes to accommodate any size gate opening you may be trying to set up. The hinges are strong enough that you don't see any sagging in the gate. I held off posting this review to see how much use I could get out of it before I noticed any wear. After a month of regular use, this gate setup is doing just fine.

The installation of this anti sag gate kit was surprisingly easy. The heavy duty corner brackets lined up nicely, making it very simple to square up my wooden gate. While the metal brackets themselves are incredibly solid and feel like they will last for years, I did find that the included screws were a bit cheap and stripped easily during installation. I highly recommend just tossing the included hardware and using your own heavy duty exterior wood screws to secure the brackets properly.Once installed with better screws, the sag correction performance was absolutely flawless. It completely eliminated the annoying sag I had been dealing with, and my gate now swings open and closed perfectly without dragging across the ground. I was also really impressed with the included self locking gate latch. It functions perfectly and catches securely every single time the gate swings shut, adding a nice touch of security and convenience to the setup.My best part of this hardware kit is that it completely saved me from having to tear down and rebuild or replace an aging, sagging wooden gate. It is a fantastic, affordable DIY fix that breathes new life into an old fence. So far these seem to work well and my two four foot gates seem to be very sturdy. I would recommend using longer screws for hinge side at post connection for added strength though. Time will tell how well they hold up. Price is very reasonable for set of two.

This is a really nice kit to build a small garden gate. I am using it on my chicken run and I would say anything 4 feet or shorter it's great. Only because there's just 2 hinges would I question using it on something taller. But the hinges with the extra top/bottom support ON TOP of the corner brackets really make for a beefy setup so it might be fine! The steel is very sturdy and doesn't feel flimsy or cheap at all. I really like the type of latch that comes with it as I've used that type before and they work great and hold up well. For the price I really don't think you can go wrong with this set to build your own gate. It's got everything!

I ordered this anti sag gate kit to fix my wooden gate that keeps dipping due to the weight on the latch side. The kit came with four inside corner brackets, two hinge brackets with long horizontal and vertical support rods, new latch, and a plethora of screws. I have to admit this set is amazing. I have struggled with this gate since I put it in; I've changed out the hinges multiple times because they keep snapping, I've had to put a wheel on one side to help support the weight, and I've replaced multiple different pieces to make this work right. I didn't even know this brace existed, so when I found it I was more than happy to give it a try. The braces installed easily as long as your corners were squared correctly and you have the right spacing to your pole. The long support on the bottom is roughly 12 inches long so there is a decent amount of metal support. The supports are a hammered black that goes with the pine color of my gate really well and I can say that I have used the supports for a while and my gate has not sagged or dipped at all and has stayed completely lined up with the latch. I ordered this kit for less than $24 and that is cheaper than I can get a set of quality hinges for. Based on the price of other kits on the market this kit has a spectacular value for quality and efficiency. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking to fix their problem gate.

This sturdy gate hardware kit is built very well.All the welds are artfully done.The finish on the metal surface itself is beautifully done. no chips. The flat black - Wrought iron look - finish looks great against both stained and natural wood. As well as painted.I am confident that the bracket system would outlast the lumber used to create the gate.The hinges are welded onto the 9.5" arms of the corner brackets that are 1 3/8" wide with the other arm measuring 8.25" in length.These have pre drilled holes where 7 screws are used to attach the hinge brackets securely to the gate.There are four "L" brackets that create a strong no sag gate. Each takes four screws. They are the same width. The long arm measuring 6" while the shorter arm measures 4.5".Each bracket has a slightly rounded end adding a decorative detail to them.The self-locking latch is easily secured. It comes with a Wire ring to Make it easy to open from the back of the gate. There is also a hole in the latch where you could put a padlock to prevent others from using your gate.All the black screws that are needed to create the attachments are included. All you need to supply is the lumber.On top of all of this the full color easy to follow instructions take you step by step through the process of creating the base of your gate.
