I wanted something that would hold a significant amount of weight, and not pull out easily. I'm not sure how much weight this thing can take, but it appears extremely Apple for my needs. I think they also make similar items with a shorter thread length if you didn't need such a long threaded stud. The appear well made, and who doesn't love black painted or powder coated Hardware

Strong hooks. I used a drill attachment to screw these into a tree. They are solid!!

I have a set of the stainless finish version, I wanted these black versions for mounting where I want the hook to be less visible when in use. They are shipped in a plastic bag and bash around against each other, which chips away at the black coating. I'm going to try and touch it up a bit to cover the shiny spots. They could use a better packaging method, even cardboard would do.The screw is a bit odd, the tip is just a point - not the usual threaded tip. So drilling a starter hole is required to get these going in, but they are great beyond that.Tip - you can find driver bits for these large hooks, with this much threading a drill driver is a real help.

Very nice looking eye bolts in black. Seem like great quality and durable. Looks way better than chrome. Easy to install when you pre-drill a hole a little smaller.
