Great for the price!!! to run this on max settings you need a 30 amp circut. but it is amazing for a 110 welder. Welded at 140 amps and max wire speed wide open and it burns well. it’s small like a fishing tackle box. It’s not heavy but it definitely is good at what it does. Have yet to stick weld with it but it does good flux core and have no doubt it’d stick well. Definitely not nice like a 480v welder but for what it is it’s fantastic.

I received the 145 Pro today. I set it up and used the parameters set by the machine for my material and sizes. I did not do any fine tuning at all. I have to say i was amazed! Quiet possibly the best fluxcore bead ive ever run! I couldnt ask for better. I hope abd pray this machine is durable and last me many years to come. I am that excited about how this 145 Pro welds. When i cleaned slag and seen the weld i remember thinking to myself that this bead would rival some nice gas mig welds i have run in appearance. If you are trying to decide whether to purchase this machine or not, the decision is made. Buy this Arccaptain 145 Pro. You will not regret it! I will shwre a picture if the first bead i ran. It has a stop and restart in it but that was on me. Check out the bead itself.

First and foremost let me begin with saying I am not a professional welder by any means. With that being said, I spent a lot of time on researching welders that are novice friendly and wouldn't break the bank. I ended buying this Mig145 and am extremely happy that I did. Super user friendly and seems to be hight quality. I wanted a welder that I can learn with but not really outgrow. I definitely got that with this Arccaptain. I'm mainly using this for my project cars and what not, so far I don't see the need to get anything else. If you want to learn how to weld metal and don't want to break your bank account, then go ahead and pick up one of these bad boys!

Nice machine for the money

So far so good. I haven’t gotten a chance to really work it hard but works as advertised so far. I only gave it four stars because I haven’t had to run it for an extended period of time

Very good light weight portable 120V welder at affordable price!

[Pattern Name: MIG145 PRO Flux MIG Welder]
This is a surprisingly good little 120V flux core/stick welder. I've used this welder for several projects and it has performed flawlessly. It has a decent duty cycle both flux core and stick. The only negative for this machine is that while it can run at 145A it will pop the 120V 20A circuit breaker after about 30 seconds. It will weld flux core in synergic mode up to .120 steel thickness. It will weld 3/32 7018, 7014 rods at 90A with no problem. It's best to use rods that will run on AC or DC as they run smoothly. It has insufficient open circuit voltage to run 6010 or 6011 rods. The ArcCaptain flux core wire E71T-GS runs very hot and well on this machine for single pass welds. I have run 1/8 7018 rods on this machine at 125 A but I plug into a 120V 30A RV plug with an adaptor. The machine handles it for 1-2 rods but the cord gets warm so caution in advised. It feeds wire evenly but you have to be careful to adjust the tensions correctly. Overall, a very good little machine that is very light making it easily portable. I have also run off my 8500 W generator with no problems so it can be used in the field. Again I sometimes use the 120V30A plug for higher amperage welds. For the price this is an excellent choice that I recommend. Final point is that the customer service was fast and responsive. I asked a few questions and always got an answer by the following morning. Good little welder!
