Silicone Weather Stripping Door Seal
Silicone Weather Stripping Door Seal
Key Features
- [EXTRA LONG] Purchase 3 rolls each time. The width of each roll of Binazon Weather Stripping is 35mm(0.14in), and the length is 16.4 feet. The total length of 3 rolls of Weather Stripping is 49 feet (588 inches), which is enough to seal the gaps around the seal of your home's front door
- [HIGH-QUALITY Weather Stripping] The Weather Stripping has good flexibility, strong resilience, and is super durable. It is non-toxic, making it very suitable for home use. The sealing strip uses super glue for long-lasting adhesion.
- [SUPERIOR ADHESIVE STRENGTH] It can almost adhere to any surface, including painted and powder-coated wood, glass, metal, ceramic, fiberglass, and plastic. It has a wide range of applications and can prevent airflow from entering the gaps around windows, door thresholds, garage door seals, and shower door seals. Please do not open and close doors and windows within 24 hours after installation.
- [PRECAUTIONS] Before use, please wipe off the dust on the surface of the door and window to ensure that the surface is clean. When sticking, be sure to press firmly (if the local temperature is too low, it is recommended to use a hair dryer to heat the Weather Stripping before use), as the silicone may become hard and compact in cold weather.
- [PREMIUM SILICONE] The product is made of premium silicone, which has strong resistance to wrinkles and aging, and can maintain the sealing of doors and windows in cold winters and hot summers.

Bought this thinking I would try and seal off any air gaps on my doors and it works decently well..... until you go and open/close the door. Some of the strip gets caught after it bends into the hinge side and the portions that hit the strike plate has pretty much deformed away from the door leave an air gap like it wasn't there. The places where it doesn't touch the door frame mostly held up ok but there are some spots where the adhesive has come undone from the door where I stuck it. I would say it'll last a few seasons in low use areas especially if you don't go in and out of the door much but for something high traffic it doesn't stand up well in time.

It really worked for me. It's easy to install. The material is great, durable and the adhesive holds fine. Keep in mind to wipe of dust before applying. It's flexible too.

I used this product on some interior doors for 2 rooms in our house that are unheated and a-join heated rooms. There is always cold air leakage as interior doors have no weather stripping. It has adhered well and has definitely cut down on this air leakage. It is easy to cut to size.

I just installed this weatherization seal tape on my front and back doors to stop cold air. I used less than 2 of the 3 rolls. I like that it’s transparent so it blends in and isn’t noticeable. I’m a bit skeptical about the adhesiveness, I’ll have to wait over time to see how long it lasts. The seal tape itself is thin and pliable. I suggest pulling the seal tape taut when applying, I feel it adheres better this way and it keeps the tape from ruffling, plus I’m able to cover more area. My doors are slightly textured so I used a small sewing seam roller to adhere the tape better to the door, otherwise I know dust and dirt will work its way into the tape crevices. I can feel a difference right away. It’s always windy or breezy in my area and the cold and dirt always make its way through the gaps in the door. Before this tape I had a canvas tapestry covering the door to keep out the cold but it wasn’t enough. I wish I had gotten this seal tape sooner; it probably would’ve saved me a lot of money on heating and cooling. I wiped down the door with clorox wipes first then let it dry, then wiped a second round using cotton pads and rubbing alcohol, after that dried I applied the tape. I can’t stress enough how important it is to clean the surface so the tape can stick better.tl;drSeal tape works great, follow directions:1. Wipe down surface with soap & water or clorox wipes; let dry2. wipe down surface with rubbing alcohol; let dry3. measure & cut tape4. apply seal tape, keep taut to avoid ruffle in tape

We live in an old Farmhouse, so there are all kinds of little spaces that are drafty. We found Alien tape and after reading every review on similar products, I decided to try a cheaper option. We were not disappointed!I've used it on windows, doors, and a ton of other pesky nooks and cranies. It seems pretty durable. So far (2-3 weeks later) none of it has fallen. The thickness is perfect for getting between the frame and the door. Its pretty sticky so I was afraid of readjusting it on some of the painted areas but as long as you don't push it down, it's easy to fix. Also, none of the paint has pulled off with the tape!Over all, especially for the price point, this works really well for weather protection in all the right places. I even bought some to gift my mom for her store, and my brother for his camper.
