I ordered this wallpaper without a particular project in mind because I simply liked the design. When it arrived, I realized the colors worked beautifully in my kitchen, where the backsplash area was just painted wall, so I decided to use it there. The material itself is excellent. It is a thick, 100% vinyl wallpaper with a subtle embossed texture and an overall matte appearance. It feels substantial, cuts cleanly, and is extremely forgiving during installation. I could peel it back and reposition it when necessary, but once placed correctly it stayed securely attached. The colors are gorgeous. There is quite a bit of turquoise mixed into the different shades of navy and blue, while the crests of the waves are more ecru than white. The combination gives the design a beautiful vintage woodcut appearance rather than looking like a simple blue-and-white nautical print. One important installation note is that the grid on the backing does not indicate the pattern repeat. At first I thought the markings suggested approximately a 50 cm repeat, but they do not. The grid appears to be there only to help with straight cutting. Fortunately, I realized this before cutting all of my strips. My first section was applied to the wall and then trimmed in place. That worked, but I found a much easier method for the remaining pieces. I held each piece against the wall in its exact position, creased the top and bottom where it needed to end, then cut those lines with a straightedge and X-Acto knife before removing the backing. I butted the pieces against one another rather than overlapping them. Using that method, it was surprisingly easy to get a neat result and line up the pattern.I also used some of the leftover scraps for small projects. The material works very well for that because it adheres securely but can still be removed and repositioned.I would have given this an uncomplicated five stars based on the appearance, material, adhesive, and ease of installation, except I discovered something concerning while working with it. Blue pigment from the printed surface transferred noticeably onto my hands.I had been cleaning, so I cannot identify exactly what was on my hands at the time. They may have been slightly damp or had residue from a cleaning product. The vinyl itself appears waterproof, but based on the amount of color that transferred, I do not yet know which cleaners or solvents are safe to use on the printed surface. That matters particularly for something advertised as suitable for bathrooms and other areas where people may expect to wipe or scrub it.Despite that concern, I liked the wallpaper enough that I ordered a larger double roll to continue the backsplash on the other side of my kitchen. The finished section looks fantastic, and it was remarkably easy to achieve a polished result.I can recommend this cautiously because the material, adhesive, and design are excellent. However, I would test any cleaning product on a scrap or inconspicuous area before using it on the installed wallpaper. The fact that the print transferred to my hands is significant enough that I would not assume the surface is safely scrubbable just because the vinyl itself is waterproof.I am giving this a cautious initial 4 1/2 stars, rounded up to five. If this wallpaper later disappoints me because of clean ability concerns then I will absolutely come back here and tell you and adjust the star rating, but since I actually purchased an extra double roll, I kind of feel like it was good enough for me to re-purchase so I’ll give it the whole five stars for now. I am cautiously optimistic that this isn’t going to be a problem and that maybe I had some solvent on my hand that is incompatible with the ink.

Haven't used it yet, but it compliments memorabilia that I have from Japan and the accompanying color scheme

This beautiful heavy-duty contact paper is perfect for lining the drawers and bottoms of my bathroom cabinets. the cabinets aren't in terrible condition, but I hate seeing the stains left by previous residents. This contact paper is weighty enough to spread without getting folds in the paper as you apply it.The contact paper is textured and should wear quite well. It almost has the look of an oil painting. The print reminds me of the Japanese wood block print, The Great Wave Off Kanagwa... one of my favorites. It is seamless, so it's very easy to use.I don't know if the adhesive will eventually damage surfaces, but it was very easy to lift and adjust as I applied the paper to the drawer bottoms. This paper costs more than I typically spend on contact paper. But, the print is gorgeous and the paper is high quality... so I splurged.
