This a beautiful ceiling fan for outdoor use. Mine is installed on the back patio and is the walnut finished blades. Installation was straightforward and easy. Takes about 45 minutes from start to finish.

Looks nice and works great,Only downside is the paint color is a stark white. A creamy white would look nicer and less like primer.Wish I had painted the blades of got the light wood ones.

I really dislike fans. There are so many bad looking ones so when I saw the Maverick from VC, I knew that is what I wanted. But they have a high price to match the style. These Amazon Fans have the same look, but for a small fraction of the price of the high end company. As I purchased these to go in bedrooms, they didn’t need to be outside rated either. I also purchased some similar priced fans from Wayf@&r, but the plastic looked super cheapy. Very happy with these. One pic shows the fan installed with the 10” rod and the other is installed with the 5” rod. Ceilings in both rooms are 10’. They both look fine, but my preference would be something in between. Also, a note: husband installed these and he said the wiring was labeled differently than the US and he also had to run to the hardware store to get an additional piece to make the mount fit our junction box.
