Wonderful little multitool. Thing was cheap as dirt and seems durable beyond my initial presumptions. Comes in handy for light work around the office. All utilities are easy to open and close, and I have yet to pinch myself using the scissors or pliers. If you need a cheap and durable pocket tool that won't get in the way for all the "dang I wish I had [scissors, a knife, a screwdriver]" moments.. go all in. Great bang for your buck.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Saw it in someone's Youtube video. Many different tools you can see on their page, within 5 minutes was already using it on packaging of other products that came with this tool. The scissors actually cut and are sharp. The pliers let you pry plastics from where they snapped them together. Knife is sharp. The thing I like the most is that this thing is only a couple inches long.My purpose for this is Every Day Carry (EDC) for when I'm not in gym shorts, although the size of it will fit in the shorts' pockets. I am always going to get a tool or scissors for packaging or opening things or a screw is slightly loose. This selection of tools on this multi-tool is perfect.I highly recommend this.

Man, this thing is nice! I read all the reviews and watched all the videos on YouTube and everyone said how nice it was and I gotta say, I was still impressed. This is coming from someone who absolutely hated the Leatherman PS4. Yep, had one, hated it. It was a rinky dink little toy. The Leatherman micra is cool but this thing just blows it out of the water. In every aspect. You have to remember it's smaller than most vehicle keyfobs. Like you don't really get how tiny it is until you hold it. And even still the dang little thing works. It's one of those things where you can just feel that it's high quality just by holding it and playing with it.SO. The pliers are small obviously. But very precise. Huge win on the precision tips. Also, huge win on the sturdiness because the handles don't flex! The Leatherman PS4 handles never actually came to a definite stop, they just kept flexing. But this little nextool plier has a definite ridgid stop and don't really flex. Obviously there's a tiny bit of flex and you could probably break them if you tried too, but for a keychain tool it's way better than the PS4.The scissors are no joke. They're basically like little shears and they're sharp enough to cut really thin stuff too. Probably the single best scissor on any sized multitool right now.The little blade, 8CR14Mov. That's like legit blade steel. Like what Kershaw uses on their knives. It locks up tight just like a real pocket knife lol. And the ball detent holds it in good just like a real knife lol. The other tools are thick enough to be strong and useful. Everything is smooth and feels good. The phillips driver. One day I'm probably going to use the flat side of a smooth grinding wheel in my dremel and very carefully make the tip pointier so it works in smaller screws. It works good. It fits screws good and can handle pretty good torque. But I think it might be better to have a slightly smaller phillips driver. Just slightly. For the little screws in electronics. IDK yet.I did remove the pocket clip so it's thinner in my pocket. Luckily it's on the screw side not the pivot barrel side so it's really easy to remove. Just take the screw out and put it back in. With the pocket clip removed it's only 13mm thick. 15mm including the screws. But yeah Nextool really nailed it with this one. Someone put a lot of thought into this design. It fits INSIDE a closed fist and still handles business and feels good doing it. I'm not saying it's like a full sized tool I'm just saying it's really nice. And stronger than I thought it would be. It's more useful than it's tiny size would lead you to believe. Outstanding keychain multitool. Best on the market today hands down.

This is a great mini multitool. My new every day carry. My full size multitool really needs a belt for edc. Since I am now often wearing suspenders, I need a pocketable multitool. Materials and workmanship are good. This is not for heavy duty but handles most tasks well. The file can be used as a saw for cutting through the occasional nail or screw. The blade is sharp. The phillips #2 blade works well for light duty tasks. The selection of included tools matches my needs well. What could be improved? Add a victorianox quality tweezers and add a diamond coated surface to the file. Swap the bottle opener for a can opener. Then I would give it 7 stars.

After purchasing the NexTool F12 Mini Multitool & the NexTool W1 EDC Multi Tool - 6 in 1adjustable Wrench, I could not be more pleased with these tools.I have been a Leatherman tool user for nearly four decades & NexTool is on par withall the various Leatherman tools I currently own, I own several.I was pleasantly surprised to feel the quality and weight of these tools. While not heavy, they are substantial. The build quality is impressive, I think thesetools will last as long as my Leatherman tools. The construction is very good & firm. The joints are nice & tight not wobbly like cheap'no name' brands that you see at auto parts or Big Box stores at the checkout counter.NexTool W1 EDC Multi Tools adjustable wrench etched markings will gives thewrench size should you need more torque to loosen or tighten the nut or bolt. The included bits are useful but they should not be used for exceedingly tight fasteners, but still quite handy. I like that the side panels are secured with screws should I needto clean or lubricate the tool.NexTool F12 Mini Multitool is also well made & compact. I was surprised how compact thistool is, yet functional, with both the serrated scissors & the pliers. The scissors cut muchbetter than the Leatherman Micra scissors that are not serrated. Also, the Leatherman Micrarequires it to be opened completely to access the other tools, that do not even compareto the NexTool F12 tools. I have three Leatherman Squirts, two ES4's & one PS4.The ES4'S have wire strippers & the PS4 has pliers. The NexTool F12's pliers are larger &stronger than the Leatherman Squirt PS4 pliers. I have been using the Leatherman Squirt PS4for use on paracord projects, which I will now replace with the NexTool F12.The NexTool F12 will replace two tools with one, making my portable workbox more compactleaving more room for other accessories; beads, buckles, etc.I am considering purchasing another NexTool F12 for my pocket organizer.I have only one issue with the NexTool F12: the knife blade on my tool is extremelydifficult to open, and close the blade, requires another pointed tool to depress thesafety mechanism. All the other tools function as they should.I will wait till closer to the end of the return window to decide to return it foranother NexTool F12 or just live with it.After actually holding it in my hand, I like the tool very much & maybe this issuewill resolve itself over time.

I was looking for a small multi tool with both pliers and scissors and this fit the bill. I have already used the scissors and pliers and have cut the tape on boxes. The metal is not very thick. This makes the tool lightweight butI wouldn’t try any heavy jobs with it. This is primarily for everyday carry due to its small size and convenient pocket clip. You won’t even notice it clipped to a pocket. Lost one star due to thinness of construction.

I’ve been carrying this as an EDC for the past month now. This multi-tool is awesome. It has come in handy on many occasions. It has worked flawlessly and is easy to use. I would highly recommend this.PROSCompact size, it fits perfectly in the watch pocket (5th pocket) of jeans with room for a small flashlight to still fit.The scissors are awesome; they have worked perfectly. A great upgrade from the previous Nextool scissors.Locking blade, the blade locks and is sharp!File/Flathead, this also locks and works great. The file is light duty, but the flathead works great. I used it a couple of times to pry key fobs to change batteries and the mini eyeglass screwdriver to pop the battery out.Pliers are an upgrade from previous comparable Nextool models. I haven’t used this as much but has a solid feel and should work well for light duty jobs.CONSI haven’t found any cons with this tool. So far it has performed exceptionally well.

First off if you don't know this is an upgraded version of one of their popular tools with improved materials and a more polished design.I've been into EDC stuff for well over a decade and this 2.8 oz tool instantly became one of my favorites. The pliers are about as small as you can go and still be useful. I don't value scissors usually but these are so good i find myself using them over my pocket knife often. Everything is functional and all the smaller tools are "full" length similar to a larger multitool's due to them being on the outside, kind of like a mini wave. This is an excellent design and it's affordable enough if you lose it or have to abuse it in a pinch you won't care too much. Time will tell if the cutting surfaces last but the fact that they even list the materials puts them ahead of most things in this price category.I love this thing but it isn't perfect. My blade needed a little adjustment and working in to lock fully but now works well, and the glow bead is chipping already. Also i do need to say the pliers are definitely limited compared to something like the Powerpint but it is what it is at this sizeSome improvements I'd love to see would be a diamond file like some of their other tools and an adjustment to the blade so you can open it one handed a little easier. also the full polished tools look great but it does diminish grip on the drivers though admittedly it hasn't been a problem yet.
