This is a beautiful light but, I can’t understand why they call it a farmhouse design…This is a very modern lighting fixture. There is nothing “farmhouse” about it. It’s perfect for the living room and kitchens. It ads a modern and more industrial look than a farmhouse design. The look is quite lovely. It doesn't hang so, for those with lower ceilings, it’s perfect. Also, for those with brick on their walls, or pipe, and/or cast iron fixtures and wood in their space, this is the perfect addition.What’s great is you can add almost any bulb to change the look. No shades are needed for these lights, they are completely exposed so, you usually have to pay more for your bulbs because the cheap ones wont look good at all in a fixture like this. Those Edison bulbs last quite a long time and would look great in this fixture or in this design.This fixture is easy to install and comes with everything needed to install safely. Make sure you cut power to the house before you start. If you are not comfortable doing it, call an electrician or find a friend who is handy.Overall it’s a great light, looks fantastic installed, made well with quality materials and goes with many types of decors but does bring your room and space to a more modern look overall.

We installed this in our living room since our ceiling isnt tall enough for a hanging fixture and it's given the room a more modern industrial feel then our old boring flush mount. The staggered arms actually look nice and add some visual interest to what was previously just a plain circle light before. Installation was manageable for my husband to do on his own, though he mentioned wiring up 8 sockets took longer then a simpler fixture would. It looks sturdy once mounted, no wobbling or feeling flimsy even with all 8 bulbs in place. Being dimmable has been a nice feature too, we can adjust the brightness depending on if we want it bright for cleaning or softer for relaxing in the evening. My only complaint is it doesnt come with any bulbs, so we had to make a separate trip to grab 8 compatible ones before we could actually use it. It's given our living room a nice style upgrade and I think it was a good buy for the price.

upgraded the light fixtures around the house and I settled on this one for the kitchen to give it a modern look but still practical. My husband put it together. It was easy for him. He has reservations about the symmetry staying stable. But Absolutely stunning.
