This great looking 50W, 5500 lumen 2x2 LED light drop ceiling flat panel by AIKVSXER is well built and has great control features not typically found in 2x2 drop ceiling light fixtures. Being able to control color temperature from 3000K to 6500K, 10% through 100% dimming and a cool nightlight feature through either cellphone App or wireless remote control, this fixture is lightweight, energy efficient and very easy to install. The price for this unique light fixture is very reasonable considering it's great build quality and wireless feature control making for a good value. I install a lot of lighting in rental properties, and one thing I have learned is that replacing an old fluorescent ceiling fixture can completely change the feel of a room. I installed this 2x2 LED panel in a space that needed brighter, cleaner lighting, and the difference was immediately noticeable. It puts out a tremendous amount of light without the bulky look of older commercial fixtures.The ability to adjust the color temperature from 3000K all the way up to 6500K is especially useful. I can go with a warmer setting when I want a more comfortable residential feel or turn it up to a cooler white when I need a brighter workspace. The dimming range is another nice feature because 5500 lumens is a lot of light when you do not actually need all of it.What really sets this one apart for me is the wireless switch and app control!!!!!! In rental properties, I like having options for controlling fixtures without adding another complicated wiring project. The night-light mode is also a clever feature for areas where you want some low-level illumination without leaving the entire panel blasting away at full brightness.For offices, utility areas, kitchens, hallways, and rental spaces, this is a very practical upgrade. It has the clean appearance of a modern commercial LED panel but gives you considerably more control than the basic fixtures I have installed over the years. Once you get used to being able to adjust the brightness and color from your phone, going back to a fluorescent fixture with one lonely on-and-off switch feels a little like returning to a rotary telephone.

I purchased this light to replace the fluorescent bulbs in my office because I usually experience some eye strain from fluorescent lighting by the end of the day. I decided to start with just one panel over my desk to see how I liked it, and I am completely pleased with the results!I absolutely love that I can adjust both the brightness and the color temperature. Being able to switch between warmer, neutral, and brighter lighting lets me choose what feels most comfortable depending on what I'm doing. The light is bright and even without feeling harsh.The wireless remote and app controls are probably my favorite features. I don't have to rely on the wall switch, so I can leave the fluorescent lights off and control this panel right from my desk. It makes it so much more convenient to adjust the lighting throughout the day.After using this one over my desk, I'm planning to replace another light at the other end of my office so I can eventually eliminate the fluorescent lights altogether. We installed this 2x2 panel in a windowless corner of our finished basement, which currently serves as my adult son’s living space. We were replacing a dead, flickering fluorescent tube light fixture, and the difference is night and day. "Wowsers" is an understatement for how much light 5,500 lumens brings into a dark room.The ability to tune the color temperature from warm 3000K to a crisp 6500K is fantastic. It allows him to shift the ambiance from a productive daytime workspace to a low-key evening environment without hassle. The wireless switch works smoothly, and the built-in night light mode is a merciful feature for late-night kitchen trips when full brightness would be blinding. There is a nightlight function although, it doesn't get quite dim enough to truly be a nightlight.It gets four stars instead of a perfect five because the smart app pairing took a bit of patience and trial and error to get right. Honestly, I don't need another app, as the wall switch works just fine. Once set up, though, the fixture performs reliably and fit into the ceiling grid effortlessly. It is a massive upgrade for windowless living spaces.

5500 lumens out of a 2x2 is a lot of light, and I mean that as both a compliment and a warning. In a garage, a shop, a basement, a classroom, it's exactly right and one panel does what two of the old fluorescent troffers used to. In a living room it will feel like a dentist's office at full output. The dimmer earns its keep here, and being able to slide the color from 3000K to 6500K means the same fixture can be warm in the evening and daylight when you're actually working. The install was easy, and these appear to be a great quality for the value. The light color and appearance is also really niceThe tunable part is better than I expected. At 3000K it's a genuinely warm white, not a compromise, and 6500K is properly blue-white without going purple the way cheap tunables do. Light comes out even across the diffuser with no visible hot spots or diode dots, and I haven't caught any flicker on camera, which is where a lot of budget panels give themselves away. Night light mode is a nice extra, way dimmer than the 10 percent floor.On the app and remote, it works, it's fine, and I'd still wire it to a normal wall switch and leave that switch on. Anything that depends on an app is one firmware update away from annoying you, and the remote is small enough to get lost in a couch. Practical note, this is a 2x2 drop-in for a grid ceiling, so if you're putting it in drywall you need the surface mount frame or a recessed kit, sold separately, and the listing does not make that obvious. And it's line voltage, so it gets wired into a junction box. If that sentence gave you pause, get an electrician.

This is a very interesting light. It is designed to be used in a 2 x 2 panel drop ceiling type configuration. It claims that there is a trim kit that you can purchase for it if you want to use a standalone installation, but most people I think are just going to be installing it in a hung ceiling configuration. What makes this light different and interesting is that it has both a wall panel control that uses two AAA batteries and it also has an app feature so it can be turned on and off remotely via Bluetooth. Using Bluetooth means that you don’t have to bother with Wi-Fi, but it also means that you can’t turn it on and off if you are not at home. In playing with the various settings, I found that the app allows you to infinitely vary the color temperature where the wall switch cycles through three different color temperatures, yellow, neutral and white white. The wall switch does have a nightlight and an infinitely variable brightness, setting.The light response to the wall switch almost instantly which takes a little getting used to and made me realize that with most wall switches there is a noticeable delay.This light should be installed with a constant unswitched power source and controlled only through the app or included remote, using it with an existing mechanical wall switch will cause it to randomly lose its settings when it is turned off and then back on.Physically, this light is 23 3/4 x 23 3/4 by one and a quarter inches thick. The power can be routed through large openings at the top or through a smaller opening at the side of the connection block.As far as installation, it can be hung on an existing drop ceiling framework or if you want to just use it in a garage. There are four hooks that can be used to hold it into place or have wires run through them to hang it if you don’t mind the exposed look.This light appears well sealed so insects should not be a problem, and it is rated for damp locations.
