Good tape for average price.

[Color: purple]
I tested this tape by sticking a 6-inch piece to a door painted with fully cured semi-gloss latex paint and left it in place for one week. When I removed it, it peeled off cleanly without leaving any residue behind. The adhesive is good. This tape adhered to everything except for some smooth plastics and silicone pads. The tape is the same thickness as other masking tapes I've used. I even placed it side by side with another brand, and I couldn't feel any difference at the seam where they met.The price is also in line with what I'd expect to pay for a quality masking tape.I didn't have an active painting project to evaluate its masking performance, so I can't comment on how well it prevents paint bleed or whether it leaves a sharp, straight paint line. Based on my initial impressions, though, it appears to be a solid, comparable masking tape.

I recently picked up this pack of 6 yellow painter's tapes for a home improvement project, and I can confidently give it a 5/5 rating based on my experience. For the price of $11.88, getting over 330 yards of quality masking tape is a fantastic deal, but the real value lies in how it performs on the job. This isn't the flimsy tape that peels away with paint on it; the crepe paper backing is sturdy, moisture-resistant, and adheres well to drywall, glass, and wood without curling or losing stickiness during use.The adhesive is a standout feature for any DIYer. I needed clean, sharp paint lines on a few touch-up jobs, and this tape delivered without any bleed-through or residue when removed. It tears easily for quick cuts, which saves time on larger surfaces, and the fact that it works in sunlight and heat makes it versatile for both indoor and outdoor applications. Whether you're masking windows or wrapping a vehicle, the tape stays in place and peels off cleanly, preserving the surface underneath.Overall, if you are looking for a reliable, multi-purpose masking tape that balances durability with easy removal, this is a top-tier choice. It handles all types of painting, trimming, and protective applications with ease, earning the high score it deserves. I highly recommend this 6-roll pack to anyone who wants a product that actually works as advertised without wasting money on a half-used roll.

6 Rolls Green Painters Tape. STIKPACK.I’m trying the painter’s tape from STIKPACK and it has been a great addition to my painting and DIY supplies. The pack includes 6 rolls measuring 0.94 inches (approximately 1 inch) by 55 yards each, giving a total of 330 yards of tape, which should last through plenty of projects.I chose the green version from the available color options and am definitely impressed by the professional-grade quality. The crepe paper material feels durable yet flexible, making it easy to apply around edges, corners, and trim work. You can cut it with scissors but it’s nice that it easily tears by hand also. The biggest highlight for me was the clean paint lines. When I pressed it down as they recommended, the tape stayed in place without curling or lifting and did an excellent job preventing paint bleed-through. After removal, it left behind no sticky residue and did not damage the painted surfaces.I also appreciate how easy it is to write on the tape, making it useful for labeling, organizing, and craft projects in addition to painting. It adheres well to a variety of surfaces including wood, metal, plastic, glass, concrete, fabric, drywall, tile, and painted walls. The UV, heat, and moisture resistance make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.Whether I’m painting rooms, working on arts and crafts, decorating, masking surfaces, or tackling professional projects, this tape offers a great balance of adhesion, durability, and clean removal. Overall, this is a versatile, reliable painter's tape that delivers sharp edges and professional-looking results. I’ve had plenty of disappointments with other brands of painter’s tape and this one is great.

Pretty Painter’s Tape That Works Well Indoors but Not Really “Automotive”Pretty Painter’s Tape Th...

[Color: purple, Color: purple]
I have gone through a lot of painter’s and masking tape, and this set has been a solid general purpose option with a few caveats depending on how you use it. For everyday household and indoor painting tasks, it performs very well: it tears cleanly off the roll, applies easily, and comes off painted walls without damaging the finish or leaving sticky residue behind. I even left a strip on the wall for a couple of hours as a quick test and it peeled off cleanly. The bright color is a fun bonus (the pink makes me weirdly happy) and also practical, because it is easy to see against most surfaces when you are masking edges or labeling things.Adhesive strength feels about right for normal painter’s tape. It sticks well to typical indoor surfaces like painted drywall, wood trim, cardboard boxes, and smooth containers, and I have used it for a bunch of non‑painting tasks: holding a paper calendar on a non magnetic fridge, reinforcing torn boxes, and labeling jars and containers when I run out of proper labels. It is thin enough to tear by hand without fighting it, but not so fragile that it shreds when you do not want it to. Used properly for masking, it can give reasonably clean paint lines for indoor projects.Where it falls short is in more demanding “automotive” situations. On automotive plastics, especially nylon type surfaces, it just does not adhere well, and it is not water resistant, so it is not ideal for wet sanding around headlights or similar car refinishing jobs. The marketing that calls it “automotive refinishing masking tape” is a bit optimistic; for vehicle work I would look for a more specialized, higher grip, water resistant tape. For regular household use, though, it has been fresh, easy to unroll, and a fair value for multiple rolls.Pros:Sticks well to typical indoor surfaces and removes cleanly without damaging paintTears cleanly by hand and is easy to work with for masking and labelingBright color is both fun and easy to see when painting or organizingGood general purpose tape for crafts, labels, light repairs, and indoor paint maskingMultiple rolls in a pack offer decent value compared to big box store pricesCons:Not very sticky on some automotive plastics, especially nylonNot water resistant, so not ideal for wet sanding or serious automotive refinishingFeels a bit thin, so I would not rely on it for heavy duty holding jobs

Clean Paint Lines Every Time… Reliable and Easy to Work With

[Color: green]
I picked up this painter’s tape while working on a bathroom renovation, and it’s been a really helpful tool throughout the project. From a quality and performance standpoint, what stands out most is how well it sticks while still being easy to work with. It stays in place during painting and creates sharp, clean edges, which makes a big difference when you’re trying to get a professional-looking finish. It doesn’t shift around or peel up while you’re working, which helps maintain those crisp lines. In terms of value, getting six rolls in one pack is very practical, especially for larger or ongoing projects. It’s one of those items you end up using more than expected, so having extra rolls on hand saves you from needing to reorder mid-project.For example, while painting our bathroom, I used this tape along trim and edges… it made it much easier to get clean, straight lines without worrying about paint bleeding onto areas I wanted to keep clean. As far as reliability and usefulness go, the biggest benefit is the consistency… it sticks well and delivers predictable results every time. One minor drawback is that it’s still important to apply it carefully to get the best lines.Overall, this is a solid choice if you’re doing any kind of painting project… it’s dependable, easy to use, and helps you get a clean, finished look.
