These recessed lights are made well and easy to install. It comes with a cut template and installation instructions. It is easy to change the color with the switch on the box before it's installed in the ceiling but after it's put up, it's a bit of pain to change. I like the recessed features of lights which cuts down on the glare. Also recessed lights should last longer than the wafer type lights. The black casement is supposed to reduce glare even more. The 2" size makes them look very modern and low profile, which keeps the ceiling looking clean. The lights were packaged well, and none were damaged in transit.

A set of six deeply recessed candles down lights with PSU and easy to install. They are not stage level lighting, only 800 lm each, but with 5 CCT switch selectable colors a decent amount of light for evening/night lighting.The deep recess and some other attributes eliminate any chance of glare that is often associated with ceiling mounted LED lights. They cast a 30-degree beam angle which further eliminates any chance of glare but allows for maximum downward illumination.The are six light cans and six controllers so you can install these separately or in a cluster as you desire. The can be daisy chained and are compatible with industry standard dimmer switches like those from Lutron and Leviton.Installation is super easy. You only need to make the connections for hot, neutral & ground to wall switch (or dimmer switch) at the controller and then connect the controller to the fixture with a pre-installed connector. The fixture has an ingenious spring loaded retainer that engages when you push it up into a 2" hole. This kit is ideal for the DIYer.The resulting look is clean, unobtrusive and with the matched controller flicker free reliable performance.At $80 for six lights, they end up at $13.33 each. For their beauty, performance flexibility and ease of installation resulting in a professional look, that is a very reasonable price.

I got these smaller 2” downlights for my upstairs hallway & they’re working out really well. They’re easy to install & provide the perfect amount of lighting for the area. Way better than just using the single overhead light.The lights arrived well-packed & arrived pristine. Includes an easy to follow user/installation manual & a cutout template to make sure you cut correctly sized holes. I really like that everything is included to wire them up & install. No need for getting new cans, adapters, etc.The lights shine nice & bright when you want & dims smoothly with no issue. The color temps are a great option to have & all seem to be accurate (to my untrained eye). No humming, either. I really appreciate that these are ETL & made well. This is a real nice set of little downlights that I can surely recommend. Made in China.

Two small lights are bright. Five light color settings available. The spring clamps are fairly long. When I lifted up the spring one side would pop out of spring that held them in place. This was at the top of the fixture where the spring connected to the light fixture. I wrapped with a small amount of electrical tape and that held them in place and all was great. Easy install.

This 2 inch 5CCT anti glare recessed light is exactly what I hoped for! The adjustable CCT feature lets me choose the perfect color temperature for any room, from warm and cozy to bright and cool. Its super smooth and flicker free as well. The anti glare design really makes a difference, the light feels soft and comfortable, not too harsh on the eyes.Installation was a breeze thanks to the canless design and included hardware. It fits neatly into my existing ceiling cutout with any hassle. The deep trim gives it a clean modern finish that looks good in any space.The light functions quite well and feels solid with strong light output.

It had always been my intent to include installation and use with my review. Unfortunately, I sustained an injury that has put this off, so for now I am only reviewing how the product looks, but not how it works. Once I get it installed, I will update my review.That being said, I think this is a beautiful set. The lights themselves are very unobtrusive, being only 2 inches in diameter. With them being recessed means you’re not going to get a glaringly bright light in your eyes. I think this lens itself to a softer more upscale look, much like an art gallery.In particular, I really appreciate that I can change the warmth of the light, depending on the location it’s being installed. For instance, I like the lights to be much warmer in a bedroom and much cooler in the kitchen.While each light is only 800 lumens and individually might not do a lot, all six together are going to give you a very nice soft and thorough illumination.As for the build of the lights, I’m very pleased. Having installed several kits similar to this I know what I like and what I don’t like. In particular, the finish on the lights is very smooth and even, no bumps and or divots to catch the shadows or cast a shadow. The metal boxes are very clean with no metal burrs on the edge to catch an unwary finger. It’s easy to open the boxes to gain access to the internal wiring, and the plug-in go features make it very easy to daisychain these lights.Overall, I’m really impressed and I feel like I got a quality lighting set. It is a little pricey, coming in at about $15 per light, but that high-end art gallery type of look doesn’t come cheap, and I feel like these are reasonably priced with comparable products.

I love these lights! They look fantastic in both of my bathrooms. Two negatives: they are not dimmable to zero. They do dim, but even on the lowest setting they don’t turn off on the dimming feature, and you can change the color temperature when the lights are being installed. I love that! However, once the color temperature is set, it can’t easily be changed because you have to press a button in on the box inside the ceiling. Not really a big deal because I’m not changing the color temperature of my bathroom lights every day obviously. But it’s inconvenient if I decide to change the color later. The pictures speak for themselves though. Wonderful product! Extremely bright!
