These power supplies are great. In all of my many years of tinkering, I have cut off the ends of random power supplies and added whatever end I needed at the time. These feature a nice steady 24 volts with a 1-amp current. Having nice round numbers that are dead perfect when on a bench can save you so much time and sanity looking for “that one I threw together a few months back.” They do sell the adjustable voltage power supply units on their own, but I have always had an issue trying to find an adjustable one that outputs exactly what it’s supposed to. These seem durable enough, and the micrometer says they’re performing precisely where they should be. If you are a tinkerer, a child beginning to dip their toes into the ocean that is electrical engineering, or a "handyman," that sometimes needs to make their own custom parts to fit a clients needs, these power supplies have a multitude of uses and should last a good long time.

I received these 24V 1A Power Supply 2 Pack, UL Listed 24 Volt LED Power Supply Adapter, 100-240V AC to 24V DC this week. I was attracted to these supplies partly because of their flexibility.The inclusion of adapters to attach bare wires to the power supplies is a major plus.I also like the fact that these power supplies are UL rated. Which adds a measure of comfort to lower priced supplies.

Unlike many power supplies these ones appear to be top range. My tester didn't really show any drop in voltage as the load increased. And that value was roughly 99% of the stated voltage. A 5% tolerance is considered good; this 1% tolerance is excellent. It held out to 1.2A (it's only rated for 1A) and was still holding the voltage, but was overloaded at 1.3A.The second supply was just as good, so this doesn't appear to be a "lucky" supply.This even looks like a quality supply; it's not the cheap plastic shell that is common, but feels more solid with a good cable strain.1A isn't the highest current rating of a power supply, but if that's all you need then $16 (at time of review) for 2 of these supplies is good value.

This is a nice little power supply for use with LED lighting strips. I plugged directly into my controller, the lights were bright and no noticeable flickering. It does come with an adapter for hard wired installations. I received the 24volt dc /1 amp version and that is adequate for my needs just check that your application is less than 1amp I would recommend no more than about. .75 amps to not stress the power supply and prolong the life of the power supply. Would I buy again maybe, I might opt for the 2 amp version instead.

Nice power supply set with a good amount included for the price. The units feel solid and provide stable output as expected.One feature I really liked was the breakout connector—it makes wiring into existing systems much easier and cleaner compared to cutting and splicing cables manually.The compact size is also helpful for tighter installations, and the longer cable gives some flexibility in placement.Overall, a well-thought-out and versatile power supply kit that’s easy to integrate into projects.In particular, my umbrella's LED strips...this worked perfectly for charging the battery and for powering the LED underlighting.

🔥 TL/DR: A well-priced 24V 1A power supply pair that delivered solid voltage regulation in my testing. Included screw-terminal adapters are a nice bonus, and it handled overload testing better than expected.👍 Pros:• Voltage regulation was excellent in testing• Held output voltage accurately at 1.1A (10% above rated load) for an hour• No overheating during extended stress test• No meaningful voltage sag within rated operating range• Includes screw-terminal barrel adapters for easy project integration• Nice long 5-foot cord• Two-pack pricing offers good value👎 Cons:• Nothing significant found during normal operation📝 Good to Know:• Like most supplies, eventually falls out of regulation if pushed far enough beyond spec• This uses a standard 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connector• I measured output voltage within roughly 0.5% of specification at 1.1A load, which is excellent performance for a generic supply• I intentionally overloaded it to see where regulation broke down. Mine stayed solid through about 1.1A and only started showing meaningful issues somewhere above 1.2A• At 1.4A it was sagging substantially, which is perfectly acceptable because that far exceeds the rated output📝 Details:Power supplies are pretty straightforward products. Most of the judgment comes down to one question: does it actually deliver what it claims?In my testing, this one did.I appreciated that the package included screw-terminal barrel adapters. Small addition, but it means you can wire this into a project immediately instead of placing another parts order.The cord length is also generous at about five feet, which gives you more placement flexibility than some compact supplies.For testing, I ran one at 1.1 amps continuously for an hour, intentionally pushing it 10% above its rated current. Voltage stayed stable, I saw no overheating, and no signs of instability.The measured output voltage at that load stayed within about 0.5% of spec, which honestly is excellent for a reasonably priced generic supply.Naturally, I had to abuse it a little further. I kept increasing load to find where it would start falling out of regulation. Mine held together nicely until somewhere above 1.2A. By 1.4A it was sagging heavily, which is exactly what I would expect from a 1A supply being pushed 40% past rating.Five stars.
