Impressive Rain Jacket!Impressive Rain Jacket!

[Size: Large-X-Large, Color: Yellow, Size: Large-X-Large, Color: Yellow]
Overall, I'm very happy with this rain jacket! My company requires class 3 reflective gear on all job sites and this fits the bill perfectly! I've worn it out in two central Texas storms over the last month and I can definitely confirm it is completely waterproof. These do run a little bit big in my opinion. I wear a large size shirt so I bought the L/XL variant because I knew the rain jacket would have to go over a layer of clothes. My roommate who is a 2XL can fit in this jacket pretty comfortably. Not a big deal, just keep it in mind when ordering. Also worth keeping in mind, this isn't exactly a jacket meant to keep you warm. It works perfectly for me because I generally work in mid Texas, but this rain jacket is actually quite well ventilated. It's got a vent on the back so you won't be getting soaked in sweat while you're trying to not get soaked in rain.Overall, I'm super happy with this jacket. It fits well, keeps me dry, and feels very durable which is a must in the blue collar fields.

Quality high visibility rain gear at a great priceQuality high visibility rain gear at a great price

My old high vis rain gear was all but destroyed and it was time for a new jacket. I liked this one but at such a low cost I didn't expect a lot. I am more than happy. Worn for an hour during a dark and rainy night assisting a broke down motorist, it kept my upper half dry and cool with great ventilation. No issues or wear after use and letting air dry. Great reflective material and strong zipper. Well made and a shock for this price. Stays in the back of my SUV and is a great help.

What I likeI got this mainly for walking my dog at night and the visibility is genuinely impressiveI intentionally bought it in XL so everyone in the house can use it if neededThe reflectivity is extremely strong and easy to notice from far awayMy roommate wore it while I drove by and I was honestly amazed at how brightly it reflected headlightsThe jacket feels very well built and durableIt is properly waterproof and also does a good job blocking windFor nighttime walking and visibility, this thing is fantasticWhat I like lessToo bad I look terrible in neon yellowShort conclusionAn excellent high-visibility rain jacket with outstanding reflectivity, solid weather protection, and great practicality for nighttime walks or outdoor use. Safety-wise, this thing absolutely does its job.

Loads of great featuresLoads of great features

Ordered this for my son for a couple of reasons. He can use it on his job during the day and for riding his scooter especially at night. The high visibility color and patterns are ideal for working outdoors or in the warehouse. This jacket will not only make it easier to see him in cloudy or dark conditions, but also protect him from the elements. This jacket is very well constructed of sturdy, washable PU material. The lining is lightweight mesh netting so it should be fairly breathable and cooler to wear. The L/XL feels true to size with some extra room for wearing other work shirts or overalls underneath. It has roomy pockets large enough for some smaller tools and a vinyl pocket to keep your cell phone dry. The raised collar will keep him from getting drenched with rain. When he wears his helmet this collar is better or he can use the hood when he's not wearing the helmet. The sleeves have stretch cuffs and Velcro for an even more secure closure and it has a zipper plus Velcro closure front placket. There's so much to like about this jacket. It is definitely an excellent value for the money.

JUST MY OPINION
🦺 Bright, Comfortable & Easy to Be Seen — A Strong 4-Star Rain Jacket 🌧️

[Size: XX-Large-3X-Large, Color: Yellow]
Through the Amazon Vine program, I received the Hi Vis Safety Rain Jacket Lightweight Waterproof Construction Rain Coat ANSI Class 3 High Visibility Rain Gear in Yellow, size 2XL/3XL. 🚧First off, reviews are subjective—what impresses me might seem average to someone else. Most of my ratings are four stars when a product works as expected but is not necessarily groundbreaking. For me to give a five-star rating, it has to truly stand out above the competition. In the end, this is just my opinion, and your experience may vary. After using this jacket, I can honestly say the $59.99 price point reflects the overall quality pretty well. 💲 It does not feel like a cheap throwaway rain jacket, and it definitely seems built more for actual work use rather than just occasional emergency wear. The standout feature for me is the breathable mesh lining inside. 👍 A lot of rain gear tends to trap heat and make you feel sweaty after wearing it for a while, especially if you are moving around or working outdoors. The mesh helps airflow enough that it feels noticeably more comfortable during extended wear. That alone made a big difference for me.Visibility is another area where this jacket performs very well. 👀 The bright yellow color combined with the reflective striping makes you highly visible from a good distance away, whether you are working roadside, around equipment, or out in poor weather conditions. It definitely gives off that professional ANSI Class 3 appearance you would expect from safety gear. The waterproofing also seems solid from what I experienced. 🌧️ It handled rain as expected and kept me dry without feeling overly stiff or bulky. Even though it is lightweight, it still feels durable enough for construction, outdoor work, or emergency use.Fit-wise, the oversized 2XL/3XL design gives plenty of room for layering underneath, which can be useful during colder weather. It may feel slightly roomy for some people, but for work rain gear I actually prefer having that extra space rather than something too tight or restrictive. The reason I am stopping at four stars instead of five is simply because while it works very well and feels quality-made, there is nothing about it that completely blows me away compared to other high-visibility rain jackets I have used. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, and it does it well. ⭐⭐⭐⭐Overall, I would call this a very strong four-star product. 🦺 If you need lightweight waterproof safety gear with excellent visibility and better breathability than many cheaper rain jackets, this one is definitely worth considering—especially if you spend a lot of time outdoors in wet conditions.

Super visible, quality seams and fabric, runs largeSuper visible, quality seams and fabric, runs ...

[Size: Small-Medium, Color: Yellow-black, Size: Small-Medium, Color: Yellow-black]
This is a quality and highly visible rain jacket. One of the issues I was thinking about when ordering this is being on the road and having to do sudden unexpected maintenance, like changing a tire on the side of the road, and not being visible. That possibility scares me, so I wanted a good rain jacket that is very visible and keeps me dry. This one looks a lot like the kind of jacket that road crews wear.INITIAL IMPRESSIONSThe first thing I like about this jacket is that the color is an extremely bright and visible yellow. It also has very large reflective strips running vertically and horizontally on the front and back. Those strips are about an inch and a half wide and run the length of the jacket, so they should be visible from quite a distance. In hard rain on the side of the road, anything you can do to be more visible is worth it, and this jacket delivers.BUILD QUALITYThe jacket has a mesh lining on the inside and a pretty strong feeling fabric on the outside. There are large pockets on the sides as well as a smaller pocket with a clear window for an ID badge that allows you to put something like a phone behind it. There is also an inside pocket and a hood which folds into the collar. A quality detail I appreciate is that the seams are very nicely taped up, so I have no question that it is going to be waterproof for a long time. The zipper is a relatively thick plastic zipper. I did find that it wasn’t totally smooth and a bit sticky, although I suspect that a new zipper like this needs a little bit of use to break in properly.VENTILATIONI am not sure how breathable it is because the only vents I could find are the two on the back. There are no vents on the underarms, for example, so it might get a bit hot in here during active work. The cuffs also have elastic and Velcro to help keep your arms dry and possibly let in some ventilation.SIZINGI ordered the S/M and it actually runs quite large. There is a lot of room in the jacket, probably enough to fit a big backpack underneath it! I think rain jackets should be a little larger because you are putting them over other jackets and gear, so the extra space is actually practical for layering. While this is obviously not a fashion piece, it actually looks pretty cool. I would not reduce the rating for running large in size, but it is something to be aware of.VALUEFor the level of quality and the high degree of visibility, this is a solid investment in personal safety in addition to staying dry in very wet conditions. The price is not amazing, but very fair for this level of rain jacket, which is much more substantial than a cheap plastic poncho or big box store generic raincoat. Having this level of protection for roadside emergencies is worth it when you need it.VERDICTThis is a quality rain jacket for anyone who needs high visibility for unexpected roadside repairs in the rain or other uses. It seems to be built to last and provides a level of visibility that should command attention from drivers. Just remember that it runs large. It’s a must-have to keep in my van.

Gets the job done but could be better

[Size: 4X-Large-5X-Large, Color: Yellow-black]
This high visibility raincoat ended up fitting better than I expected, but it does come with some tradeoffs. I typically wear a 5XLT, and the 4X/5X size was able to zip up without any issues. That said, it does run a bit short on me, so it doesn’t quite have the coverage I’d ideally want. One thing that stood out right away was the velcro on the front flap. It holds extremely well, almost too well. After putting it through the wash, it grabbed onto other parts of the jacket and actually started pulling at the stitching, which is something to watch out for. I’d definitely recommend fastening it carefully before washing.I’ll probably end up using this more as a windbreaker than a true raincoat. It feels warmer than expected when you first put it on, which is nice in cooler weather, but it also seems like breathability is pretty limited. I wouldn’t want to wear this for extended periods in a warm or humid environment. Although it does work well at repelling rain.Visibility is also excellent. The neon yellow color combined with the reflective strips makes you stand out right away, which is exactly what you want from something like this. Some of the smaller details feel a bit on the cheaper side, especially the ID pouch and a few of the stitched-on elements. They’re functional, but they don’t give off a particularly durable or long-lasting impression. For around $60, I’d say it’s an okay value, just not a standout one. It gets the job done, but there are enough small drawbacks that keep it from feeling like a great buy.Rating: 3.8 / 5Pros:Fits better than expected for larger sizing, able to zip comfortablyVery high visibility with bright color and reflective stripsFeels warm, good for cooler or windy conditionsStrong Velcro closureKept me dry in the rainCons:Runs a bit short, especially for taller buildsVelcro can damage stitching in the washLimited breathabilitySmaller details feel cheap, especially ID pouchOnly average value for the ~$60 price range
