I used this wide masking tape while repainting an old dresser, and it ended up being a great choice for protecting the larger sections that I didn't want to get paint on. The extra width provided excellent coverage and saved me from having to overlap multiple strips of regular masking tape. That said, because it's both wide and fairly thick, it was a little more challenging to work with than I expected. It took a bit of patience to apply smoothly around corners and edges without creating wrinkles or bubbles.Once it was in place, though, it adhered well and stayed put throughout the painting process. It removed cleanly afterward without tearing or leaving behind a sticky residue, which I always appreciate. The thickness also helped prevent paint from bleeding through, giving me nice, clean lines when I peeled it away. While there was a slight learning curve compared to standard masking tape, the added coverage and durability made it worthwhile. Overall, this is a quality masking tape that worked well for my project, and I'd definitely use it again for larger painting or DIY jobs.

It’s masking tape and a lot of it! I found the tape worked as expected. I left some on some glass for a few weeks and there was no residue. It’s not super sticky and not equivalent to the blue brand name tape, but as far as white masking tape goes it is exactly what I expected. Works for labels, temporarily placing things, etc. I have used it to keep things in place for laser cutting or pull out small pieces after cutting.Overall, no complaints. Good quality and as described.

This may look just like ordinary masking tape, but it performs just like blue painters tape. It's strong enough to hold up but removes smoothly and easily. It's easy to peel off the roll, too. The result was nice, crisp, clean lines every time. They call it "thick" and I wouldn't, but otherwise this is great.We've used this for classic wall painting, as well as a variety of arts & crafts projects. All went perfectly. This goes on smooth to flat things, and can be manipulated around odd shaped objects by tearing, layering, etc. just like the blue tape. I was curious about it's general strength, so I taped a bag of screws & bits to the cabinet for "safe keeping" while we worked. It was still up several days later when we went to put all the hardware back in place.

I found this masking tape works well for painting projects, but it is not the best choice for sealing boxes or labeling. The adhesive is fairly gentle, so it does not stick as firmly as I expected for packaging use. On the positive side, that same lighter adhesion makes it a better option for painting, because it removes cleanly and is less likely to pull up paint. It also tears easily by hand, which is convenient during use. If you mainly need tape for painter’s work, trim, or temporary masking, this is a good option. If you want something for stronger sticking power, especially for boxes or labels, this may not be the right one. Overall, it does its job well for painting, so I would give it four stars.

I’m using this tape for watercolor painting to tape off a border on my paper and it’s worked perfectly. I mainly use 100% cotton, cold pressed 300 GSM/140lb watercolor paper and I haven’t had any paint bleed (I do make sure it’s pressed on well) and this peels off without any damage to my paper. My last roll of tape was so sticky I had to use a hairdryer on it as I peeled it off but I haven’t needed to do that with this tape. It’s a thinner masking tape but so far it has pulled off the rolls cleanly without splitting along the way. I have no complaints at all for what I wanted this for. It tears just fine by hand when my scissors aren’t handy and I get the crisp boarders to my paintings that I like to have.These come in three sets of 6 rolls that are wrapped in clear plastic. I kind of wish each individual roll was wrapped but I just keep one roll at my work table and the rest in a tote and that works just fine.This box of 18 rolls should last me… possibly forever. It’s nice that this is one less thing I need to think about restocking on. Two thumbs up from me. If you need lots of masking tape for any kind of painting, this is a bundle to consider.
