Really well built tool, smooth clean threads, solid powder coat finish, and feels genuinely overbuilt for the job which is a good thing. Does exactly what a pipe squeeze off tool should do for temporary flow control and emergency repairs. Portable and rugged enough to take anywhere. I added a couple of pieces of 1/4 inch angle iron to the base and a 1/4 inch U channel that screws into the solid steel bars and it doubles perfectly as a benchtop press. The build quality made that modification easy and it works great in that role too. Versatile, durable, and good value for the money.

Very heavy tool, quality welds and paint job on it. Small enough size that it’s easy for my husband to put in his work van to use as needed. My husband works in maintenance and will be using this on pex pipes during repairs or new installation. He has tried it once already and it worked as it should. The quality seems to make the price worth it!

This guillotine type shut-off clamp is a very simple device and functions well. The welds are poor - but this isn't hidden too much in the listing pictures, so i am ignoring it. The device is built very heavy and the welds are good enough - i think it will last. The paint finish is good enough, and the screw action is reasonably clean & well toleranced.I'm taking a star off for price - it appears as though nearly identical models are available for 20-30% less.However, if the price is competitive at the time of your purchase, this would be a great value.
