Recently received this barn door lock and was impressed with the ease and convenience of use. Good quality heavy duty metal material that was fairly easy to install. I like that it came with the needed hardware for installation. I also really like that this is a combination lock, making it more secure and safe. Combination was easy to reset with pin. This is great for a variety of different doors (bedroom, fence/gate, shed, etc.). Overall, good quality and functionality.

We installed this on a cabinet, and it has worked out great. The lock feels very sturdy and well made, and it gives us the extra security we were looking for without being bulky or difficult to use.Installation was quick and straightforward, and setting the combination only took a few minutes. I also really like the finish—it has a nice dark metal color that looks modern and blends in well with our cabinet hardware instead of standing out.Overall, this is a quality product that looks good, functions smoothly, and was well worth the purchase. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a secure combination latch for a cabinet, closet, or sliding door.

It might be advertised as a barn door lock, but it was splendid as an indoor lock!I’ve recently been on a mission to switch out all my interior and exterior hardware to black, and this barn door combination lock fit into that vision perfectly. Sometimes functionality and aesthetics don’t meet in the middle, but this one showed up dressed for both. The first thing I noticed was the build quality. It is solid in the hand, made from sturdy zinc alloy with a durable matte black finish that looks clean, modern, and substantial - not cheap or lightweight. Once installed, it immediately gave the door a more polished, intentional look. I have a lot of equipment in my home office and she deserves a lock to protect her 'things'.What impressed me most was how simple it was to set up. Programming the combination was straightforward and didn’t require the kind of patience usually reserved for assembling furniture or resetting Wi-Fi passwords. Once set, the latch flips smoothly and locks securely, giving that reassuring click that says, yes, this is doing its job.The 90/180-degree flexibility is a smart design feature, making it versatile enough for interior spaces where you want controlled access. It’s practical, secure, and stylish - which is the holy trinity of hardware. (Don't ask me the source of this saying!)For anyone leaning into the all-black hardware era like I am, this is a strong addition. Clean look, easy setup, and built to last.

This door lock feels like a simple, useful upgrade for a space that needs a little more privacy or control. The zinc alloy body gives it a sturdy feel, and the black finish looks clean and low profile on a bedroom, closet, or shed door. In everyday use, the flip style latch feels easy to understand and reassuring once it is set in place, with a secure action that seems well suited to repeated use. What I like most is how compact and practical it is, especially for doors where a bulky lock would look out of place. The shape works well in tight spaces, and the universal use cases make it a handy option for different rooms around the home. It seems durable enough for regular use, and the overall design has that no nonsense quality that makes a small hardware item feel dependable.

This barn door lock is a practical upgrade for adding privacy without needing to run inside and look for a key. I got 2 sets from this brand (one for each gate). This gate will stay locked unless maintenance is needed for my HVAC. The flip-style combination makes it simple to use and quick to set, and once mounted it stays aligned well on both 90 and 180-degree setups. The zinc alloy construction has a sturdy feel, and it doesn’t feel flimsy like my previous one that I got from a box store.

This lock is great because my shed came with a key lock and I'm paranoid about losing the keys. Switching to a combo lock solves that problem. The lock is a bit quirky though. First, you need make sure that the mounting screws are perfectly flush when attaching this to the door. I'll get to why in a sec, but for mounting, this thing is very forgiving if you're off by a centimeter. Just make sure you use the guide or even better, a bubble level and get the separation right. When I first installed it, I had a lot of trouble getting the locking arm to move counter clockwise. I found out that it was getting caught on the edge of my mounting screw. I tightened that a bit and did the same to the lower one and now my combo lock and swing arm move better. The combo lock is reprogrammable using a little metal prong to set the code. You can also use a paperclip or even the tiny allen wrench that's included to set the code. It works just like a bike lock.Once the correct code has been set, you turn the knob to release the swing arm. You can then set the swing arm in place, either open or closed and lock that in place by turning the knob once more. Be sure to clear your code after turning the knob. The swing arm cannot be left in a free swing mode while the knob is locked. So it's either locked open or locked closed.Note that THERE IS NO WAY TO UNLOCK THIS FROM THE INSIDE. It is possible to lock someone inside your shed from the outside.I have a fear of my kids locking me in my shed as a joke and spent some time educating them on the dangers of heat exhaustion.

Whew - this was a relief in how easy it was to install: They really did a good job in providing clear instructions and templates for drilling and placement (I’m pretty experienced at this - but cabinet hardware is always a pain and subject to misalignment and problems and often you don’t get a second change). So Kudos. And the lock itself: solid and clever (I’ve never seen one quite like this) - it programs incredibly easy with a pin, and it not easy to defeat without breaking the lock or cabinet. Took me about5-10 mins to drill and install, less than a minute to program a combination. Checks all the boxes - 5 stars easily.
