I was rather impressed by this stuff. It’s more durable than grasscloths I’ve used before, and does have a texture that’s almost more like a couch or chair seat, which I suspect it could be used for. It is, of course, a little bit less flexible than couch or chair fabric, but not much less, and certainly could still be used on the surface of a couch or chair. The adhesive is excellent! Just don’t let the clear backing fall back against the adhesive. Once you’ve removed it – – at least not the side, but it wasn’t stuck on, because it absolutely will not willingly let go if it touches that stuff, lol! Gratefully, the part that touched it on mine was toward the middle of the peace needed, so the surrounding parts were able to still stick, even though the adhesive portion was removed where the plastic stuff got stuck. And gratefully, the rest of the adhesive is more than sufficient to make up for it.I can think of so many great uses for this. Not only would it make a great sofa, patch or cover, but it would make a good fabric wall, craft cover, heck, it would probably make a good hinge for a small wooden box – – that’s how strong the stuff seems to be.I might even try it for that.Very highly recommended!

Nice fabric wall covering, easy to install. I have no ideas how much residue is left once it is removed. Fingers crossed!

This peel and stick wallpaper is a sort of grasscloth fabric, and it's got a substantial and durable feel to it. It's not flimsy to handle since it's thick enough to apply without having to hold it as taut as thinner papers. I've installed several different types of wallpaper over the years, some self-adhesive and some that you have to use wallpaper glue. But the thing in common with most of those is that they can be hard to hold in place without them folding over, and they ca stretch and distort as you apply them, making it difficult to align edges and patterns. This wallpaper doesn't do that. I feel confident applying it knowing that it will align with edges as you unroll it.It has a soft feel to it, more like a fabric than paper or vinyl And it's easy to clean. Whatever the substance is that seals the surface is great. It's waterproof and easy to clean (you can gently scrub it if need be) but still looks and feels like fabric. Very classy. The peel-off backing has a little tab to get it started. That's a minor thing but very much appreciated since picking at a corner to start peeling it can be difficult when you have the roll of paper and tools in your hands. And it keeps you from mangling the corner if you have difficulty separating the backing at first. The backing is also thick enough that it doesn't distort as you apply it. And it really is easy to remove and reapply without a noticeable reduction in adhesion. The instructions are clear with photos and even include tips on how to align edges. And there's a useful spreader to press the wallpaper into place, with two edges - one a hard flat plastic that's best used to flatten and press seams and edges into place, and the other has a felt edge to smooth out the main surface. This wallpaper is thoughtfully manufactured and high quality, very much worth the price at purchase of $39.99 per roll.

I picked up this light blue woven fabric wallpaper to freshen up an accent wall, and overall, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It has a real nice subtle linen texture to it that makes it look way more expensive than standard flat vinyl paper. Up close, you can actually see and feel the faux grasscloth weave, which does a great job of hiding minor imperfections on the wall behind it.The paper is decently thick and has a good weight to it. It didn't tear easily while I was positioning it, which is a massive plus if you've ever dealt with cheap, thin contact paper that shreds the second you pull too hard. The self-adhesive backing is tacky but forgiving enough that you can peel it back up to adjust your alignment without ruining the stickiness. Here is a big warning if you are ordering this for a larger project: make sure you buy all the rolls you need at the exact same time. Like traditional wallpaper, these peel and stick rolls can have slight variations in color between different manufacturing batches. If you order three rolls now and two more next week, there is a decent chance the blues won't match up perfectly on the wall, and you'll notice the seam lines instantly. This specific type of woven vinyl wallpaper is that while it looks like authentic grasscloth, it's actually way better for high-humidity areas like bathrooms or kitchens. Real grasscloth is made from natural fibers that absorb moisture and can rot or grow mold, but this synthetic stuff is completely washable and shrugs off water without an issue.Installation took some patience. Because of the textured pattern, getting the seams to line up perfectly across panels requires a bit of finessing. Make sure you use a solid plastic smoothing tool and go slow to avoid trapping air bubbles. A few spots required me to poke a tiny pinhole to get the trapped air out, but the texture hides those holes flawlessly anyway. It's a solid choice if you want the high-end look of grasscloth without the brutal price tag or the delicatness of natural fibers. Just measure twice so you buy enough rolls in one go.
