This a pretty useful droplight. It has the usual light head, with no bulb even though the ad says LED. What sets it apart is the 50' length and the 16 gauge wire. That means it can run something around 1200 watts in addition to the light. It's as easy to use as any other droplight, and installation is nonexistant since it's a droplight. $52 is a high price to me, but apparently everything is getting up there these days.I like it.

I love this extension cord with a light. It reminds me of one we had when I was growing up. It was so useful, but this one is even better, first it’s newer, but also the right angle plug, makes it fit flat against the wall and it looks very durable. I was really happy to get this.

Large enough for you get a good grip, but not too large that you will struggle to keep a hand on it.The unit doubles as a extension cord with a built-in the three-prong outlet in the handle. That means you can attach a corded tool to power right by your project location easily.The light switch button's action is smooth and reliable. You'll be able to quickly turn the light on or off with a single hand.The three pronged plug fits a standard North American outlet without fuss. It also is designed to connect flatly to the outlet, so it has a minimal presence and won't awkwardly protrude.The bulb seat accept a standard bulb, so no need to get special bulbs for this unit. Despite the fact that the listing calls this an "LED drop light", it is not. It is a 16awg extension cord with maximum 75 watt light socket and outlet that, as it says at the end of the listing, contains "no bulb" of any sort.So be sure to carefully read the full listing to see that there is no bulb and the 75 watts is a limit.While a 30 foot extension cord with 16 awg wires should be able to handle 10 amps (1250 watts) with the standard 20% safety margin for continuous use, the light socket warns that the light limit is only 75 watts.So while it appears that the plug socket might be suitable for a 1250 watt item, the light socket is apparently the unexpected weak link and is limited to 75 watts, whether incandescent or LED.Unlike my previous extension lights, the hook on the top is not movable. It is in a fixed position.

With the advent of rechargeable batteries with higher energy densities, wireless work lighting has become extremely common. But there is stilll a place for wired lights.This wired trouble light has a 50 foot 16 AWG power cord with a 90° 120V 15A plug on the end that is cocked at a 45° angle. The light’s handle is made of plastic. The on/off switch is located on the handle along with a single integrated 120V 15A outlet/receptacle.It claims to be UL certified.The enclosure that surrounds the bulb (not included) is solid metal on the back, and has a metal wire cage around the front. It includes a hook on the end to hang the light from.It supports up to 75 watt incandescent bulbs and/or LED bulbs.Since this light includes a single integrated outlet/receptacle, it is also considered to be an “extension cord” as well as a wired light. At the time of this writing, the product’s description states: “The grounded outlet supports a maximum current of 11.3A”. I do not believe that is technically accurate. The outlet/receptacle by definition supports 15 amps. It’s the 16AWG conductors that only support the 11.3A (from sellers info). Put another way, a 15-amp device (which is supported by the outlet) could potentially overload the 16AWG electrical conductors.Many extension cords include conductors that don’t support the potential max load of the outlet. I just take issue with calling such an offering “heavy-duty” in relation to their electrical characteristics.As far as the light itself is concerned, this appears to be a well-built trouble light and I expect it to last a good long time.
