Roughly machined stubby sockets at a good price though. These fit most of my ratchets very tightly. The sockets themselves are very beefy and should hold up to any impact gun. The magnetic strop is nice.

This review is for the 14 piece metric set. This low-profile stubby socket set seems quite similar to the well-known (and frequently recommended) Astro Nano sockets. From what I've gathered, the country of origin is different -- Astros are reportedly Taiwan-made, while I understand these Kosday sockets are made in China. That said, I'm not sure that it's reasonable any longer to consider Taiwan-made tools as automatically superior to those originating in China. I do not own a set of Astro Nanos to compare directly, but from photographs I don't see any obvious differences, and both sets are 6 point and CrMo. This Kosday set fits perfectly in the Astro 17mm ratcheting box wrench (78318) -- which I do have on hand -- allowing you to minimize socket depth. At the time of this wrtiting, the pricing on the equivalent 14 piece Astro Nano set ($31.99) is only a few dollars more than the current Kosday price ($29.99) set at, so it's hard to make an argument to buy this one from a relatively unknown maker. However, at the more typical $40 - 50 that the Astro set retails for, this set becomes a much more compelling value. It's worth noting that the Kosday set comes on a (fairly nice) magnetic rail, but I'm not sure that's great reason to choose this kit over the Astro.Comparsions with Astro aside, Kosday has put together a pretty nice low profile set here. As others have noted, it's a no-skip set from 6mm - 19mm. I can't see any imperfections on any of the sockets, and all of them fit both my aforementioned Astro 17mm ratchet as well as my various other 3/8" ratchets and impacts without issue. Sizing on the sockets I've used seems right on.I find the size labeling a bit hard to read, especially on the smaller sockets < 11mm. I'm bewildered as to why more space would be given to the branding and metal type than the socket size itself. I would have appreciated a stamped or otherwise engraved sizing mark in the event the laser etching fades too much to be visible.I think in isolation, this is a 5-star set. It seems well made and fairly reasonably priced. If this set is currently the cheapest option for a 14-piece set of this type, I think you can't go wrong (and, as noted, the magnetic rail is pretty nice). That said, you might consider cross-shopping other well known brands before purchasing to see if you might be able to find a set with similar features that has been widely battle tested. Personally, I feel like this Kosday set is more than good enough for my needs -- I see no reason to buy the Astro set unless I wind up damaging a socket or needing a size above 17mm for some reason. Given that my wrenching is limited to the two cars we own, and that I likely won't be reaching for a low-profile socket unless it's warranted, I expect this set will last me a lifetime.

Best value on amazon and works perfectly is great quality. One hidden perk is that because its really shallow--you can fit a nut in the socket and push it up to a hard to reach area with an extension and get it on the stud like that.

I got these just in time to use on my project to replace a water pump. They fit great, just the size that are marked and no issues with fitment on my socket wrench and impact adapter. I didn't appreciate it at first but the holder is magnetic! Definitely more versatile and very handy being able to stick to things... I had it stuck to the hood of my motorhome for the length of this project. They seem to be of high quality and will be a good value as long as they hold up.My only critique and the reason for the 4 stars is that the sizing is printed extremely small. Not difficult to read when new but you have to actually look at it closely. There's no reason the size couldn't be printed 5-10 times larger and make it super easy to see at a glance. They aren't etched into the socket (you can't use the paint/fingernail polish trick) and have already begun to fade on the sockets used for this project.
