Very nice rail and the magnet sticks well enough to stay in place, but isn't a pain to remove. The socket mounts spin, which might get annoying if you are used to fixed mounts, but it's handy if you need to swivel and look at the size.

Magnets inside. These are Awesome quality and strong magnets. I used on my car project with bolts that were in awful places. Another quality tool that we need for confined spaces.

This is a really nice set of shallow magnetic sockets. I really like using them on my Craftsman 1/4” nut driver/extension (43372). These are CR-MO steel and they are made/rated for impact drivers but you can also use them on hand tools. The radius corner design of these 6 point sockets prevents rounding and stripping. Each socket is dual marked with a laser etched marking as well as a stamp which makes them easy to identify even if the laser etched marking gets worn off over time. These sockets fit my tools perfectly and the magnets are strong. This set is easy to use and neatly organized on a socket rail. The socket rail does use plastic tabs and lacks the metal detent ball. The plastic bumps will wear out quicker than a rail that uses metal detent balls but I am more concerned with the tool quality than the socket rail quality. I think these are good sockets for the money and I really enjoy using them. Five stars!

I have had a small set of magnetic sockets for years; but it only has six sockets, and they are a "brand" name that costs as much per socket as this whole set; part of why that's the only set I've ever had like this. They are SAE, so when I saw this set in metric and covering the range from 4 all the way to 15mm, I ordered it immediately.You don't know how much a magnetic socket set makes things easier until you use one. Being able to reach down into a tight area that you can't get your hand in and not worry about dropping a nut into some crevice you'll never get it out of is great, and these sockets do that without having to put some add-on piece that makes the stack-up longer and wobblier in the mix. The magnets on these are strong enough that they don't just barely hold the fastener in place, they hold it with some authority. They are well made, with good smooth wrenching surfaces and drive recesses, and a black oxide finish that is smooth and even. The markings are great; large enough to be easily seen instead of some that have small roll markings that you have to really squint to see. They also come organized on a nice plastic rail to keep them together and in order; I like it better than the sheet metal rails that have been common for years. Best of all, this isn't just a standard set but an impact rated set!Overall, this is a great set of sockets that is well executed and at a price point that is really reasonable.

I bought this because I wanted a small metric socket set that would work with my impact tools and cover the awkward sizes I actually use. The magnetic shallow design and storage rail made it feel more organized than a random loose set.The good part is that impact-rated sockets are useful when you need strength and a solid fit, and the added sizes like 4.5mm and 5.5mm can save time on odd jobs. The rail also keeps them from disappearing in a toolbox drawer.The downside is that a shallow set is only useful if the fastener access is straightforward, so it won’t replace deeper sockets in every situation. If you’re expecting a full professional set, this is more of a compact helper than a complete solution.

This is a comprehensive no skip set of 1/4" nut driver style impact sockets. It doesn't sound like anything special, but these are actually quite unique and really useful. What sets these apart from typical impact sockets is the magnets. These will hold your fastener in place while you remove it. This is so incredibly convenient for low clearance areas. These are low clearance sockets, at just over 1" total length. The magnet gives them a very shallow broaching as well so they work well with hex drive fasteners. This means these can completely replace nut drivers.I'm very impressed with the build quality. I always feel silly complimenting weirdly named newer alphabet brands like these, but "Zhax" has actually been producing some really nice kit lately. The sockets are made out of chrome moly which makes them impact resistant while maintaining a thin socket wall. They have numbers laser etched on the side but they are also engraved so if the laser etching fades you'll still be able to tell the size. The magnets aren't so strong that you'll attract metal shavings and grime, but they're plenty strong enough to hang onto a fastener. I took a picture of a hex drive screw for reference. It comes on an aluminum socket rail. The rail is nicer than most cheap rails, but there's definitely better rails on the market. The first time you remove a socket from the rail it's very tight, almost to the point where you need a set of pliers. Every time after that it's a lot easier. After removing all of the sockets and putting them back on they have just enough tension to keep the sockets on without falling off. I'm worried over time these will loosen up and not hold the sockets on. I would have preferred either a magnetic rail or a twist lock. However, I really do appreciate that it came with a rail. Socket rails can be expensive, and even if I have to replace this one later it's nice that I don't have to buy one for it right away. I definitely appreciate a serviceable socket rail over a blow mold, even if its not the best rail in the world.This set is very reasonably priced for what it is. You can get cheaper quarter inch impact sockets, but the magnets on top of having a socket rail included really set these apart. These are a bit of a specialty socket and I wouldn't say they're a replacement for traditional impact sockets anyways. In my opinion these are the perfect companion sockets to the Icon meme tool G1(AKA Locking Flex Head Ratchet set) sold at Harbor Freight. The main issue with that set is lack of sockets, and I think these are the perfect sockets to go with it. I'll be keeping these alongside that set. Now they need to make an SAE version!
