i order these for a basement project thinking ceramic was gonna be some game changer or whatever. honestly they work pretty well, the mesh thing actually does keep dust from building up like my old paper discs used to. i got through like three rooms on one disc which is better than i expected. the velcro backing stays on solid even when youre doing ceiling work which was my main worry. 80 grit is kinda rough for finish work so you still need finer ones after but for knocking down compound and getting popcorn ceiling off theyre solid. lasted way longer than the cheap ones i usually buy. one disc did tear on me when i hit a screw head but that was my fault for not checking. idk if theyre worth it for everyone but if youre doing multiple rooms they save time
