This comes with tools and even a shiny new flush handle. Almost everything fit perfect in our Glacier Bay brand toilet. The only thing that didn't perfectly fit is the flush handle fitting; it had a rubber grommet that I had to remove and then it mostly fit. Everything else fit perfectly without any adjustment and came together smoothly. Note that if you use the new flush handle you'll probably need to bend the metal rod if you have a toilet that has the handle on the side like ours does, which was pretty easy to do, and it works fine. The mechanism and rubber grommets all seem high quality and work great. The only tool I needed to use from my own toolbox was a screwdriver to hold the bolts while I tightened them. Recommended!

I've got this as part of Amazon Vine program but this is my honest review.PackagingThe package came in a box, with the kit tugged inside plastic bags. Very nice.OpeningWhen I opened the box I noted the kit had the fill valve, flush valve, flush lever, nuts, bolts, gromets, everything... It even came with a plastic tool and the hex wrench to tight the bolts. Very complete.InstallingI've replaced couple of these around the house, but it never hurts to have another look at the instructions, which came very handy this time as the flush valve is different from the ones I'm used to. The fill valve is adjustable in height, so you adjust how much water will let in. Same with the flush valve, you can adjust how quickly it shuts, allowing to control how much water it flushes with a short hand pull.The kit is for a 2inch flush system. After putting it all together, no leaks (very important) and smooth flush operation.Wrap-upVery satisfied with the product and the extras the kit included.

I ordered this kit when I saw it and then it sat on a chair outside our bathroom for two or three weeks while I tried to convince my husband that this was what our troublesome toilet needed. 😂 Well, he finally installed it today, and now he’s a believer!Our house was built in 1940, and we have an older American Standard toilet that previously had Fluidmaster components inside the tank. This kit replaced essentially everything inside the tank, and the difference is remarkable. Neither of us expected it to improve the toilet as much as it did. The flush is significantly better, and my husband is extremely happy with how everything is working.I will say that the advertised quick installation was definitely not our experience. This was NOT a 15-minute project for us. It took my husband a couple of hours, but that really wasn’t the fault of the kit. Most of the extra time was spent getting old, slightly corroded connections loose from our ancient toilet. Once you start working on a toilet this old, apparently the toilet gets a vote in how long the project takes!The kit is impressively complete and even includes the tools and hardware needed for installation. No trips to the hardware store were needed. For us, this was basically a rebuild of the toilet tank from the bottom up, and the end result exceeded our expectations.Five stars is all Amazon will let me give it, but at our house this one gets TEN. I’m very glad I ordered it and I may never let my husband forget that I was right about this one. 😂

This is a complete kit for replacing the innards of most toilets. The kit includes a new styler flapper, the float and filler, the pull chain, arm and handle. The kit also includes a multi-tool for several bolts on a toilet that are generally "hand tighten" as well as a metal wrench with 12mm and 13mm for the bolts holding the tank to the basin.This setup is aimed straight at the homeowner/DIYer with those tools and in the description, clear indicators of the toilet type this is designed for and a handy reference of a baseball for the flapper valve swingThat flapper is similar to many newer types of toilets where it lifts straight up, rather than tilting, so it makes a great seal when settled. I am very happy with this repair kit which is really a complete replacement and upgrade kit for one of our toilets. The price of this kit (at the time of this review) is ~ $38 USD, which is a great price for a kit this complete.
