These wet dry sandpaper sheets come in a 9x11-inch size and in a 24-pack in a good variety of finer grits. There are four sheets each in 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, and 3000-grits. The silicon carbide is well-adhered to the surface, and I did not experience any initial excessive flaking. Each sheet is clearly labeled on the back with a description and the grit level having a professional looking appearance. The sheets can easily be cut to the size desired for the particular DIY use.The silicon carbide takes water well for wet sanding on the various hardwoods I used it on before adding finish. I can also see using these on automotive headlights as well as many other projects that need fine sanding. These sheets hold their own against other premium brands I have used in the past. I was actually impressed with the quality for this quantity and value, and I would not hesitate to get more in whichever grits I need more of down the line.

I chose the 600-3000 grit variety pack, and it includes a variety of finer finishing grits. The 600-grit is the roughest, but of course 600 is really not all that rough, and the set then goes all the way up to a super-fine 3000. This set includes 24 large sheets of sandpaper, making it an excellent value in my opinion. There are six different grits, for each grit there are 4 sheets. Specifically, this set includes:4 sheets of 600 grit4 sheets of 800 grit4 sheets of 1000 grit4 sheets of 1500 grit4 sheets of 2000 grit4 sheets of 3000 gritfor a total of 24 sheets.Each sheet is 9x11 inches in size. These are large sheets and they can easily be cut or folded to fit your sander, or to fit the size of your hand-held job. I really like that they can be used either wet or dry, since in my experience, wet sanding tends to work better for the fine finishing jobs these smaller, finer grit sandpapers are suited for. I have not used all the grit sizes yet, but so far have used the 3000 one for sanding an old stainless steel bowl I have. This bowl is over 40 years old and so it is sort of a family heirloom (ha ha). Unbeknown to me, it was left outside in humid weather for about a week and even though it is stainless steel, some small rust pits developed on the interior the bowl. The 3000-grit sandpaper was just the perfect thing to remove them. I used the sandpaper with some water, and it worked beautifully. I know we will have lots of uses for the rest of the pieces in this set.Overall, this set includes excellent variety of sandpapers and is an excellent value. The sandpaper holds up well to vigorous use, and is easy to store, organize and keep neat and clean in its flat, compact box.

I picked these up mainly for refining the layer lines on my 3D printed miniatures and smoothing out small wooden miniature pieces before painting. After several projects, I can say they've handled both tasks admirably. The 1000 grit suits my work well precisely because most of what I make sits at a miniature scale. Whether I'm smoothing a small wooden piece or knocking down the ridges left behind by a printer's layers, a fine grit gives me the control I need without removing more material than intended. It's gentle enough for delicate wood detail and precise enough for the fine texture of a resin or filament print, and it works equally well as a final pass before laying down primer or paint. The versatility between wet and dry use is what sold me initially, and it's held up in practice.The sheet size deserves mention too. At nine by eleven inches, there's enough material here to cut down into whatever shape suits the job at hand, whether that means small squares or strips for detail work on a miniature, or a larger folded piece for broader surface prep. Folding these sheets, and turning the sheet to a sharp cone with a point when working small areas has become a favorite practice, because these sheets hold together very well through heavy manipulation. They simply do not tear and fall apart like a lot of other sanding sheets.As for durability, the sheets don't seem to wear out after a single pass. I've used individual pieces across multiple sanding sessions before needing to reach for a fresh one, which says something about the quality of the backing and the consistency of the grit itself. With twenty-four sheets in the pack, the value is hard to overlook at the given price point. For anyone doing regular finishing work on small-scale wood pieces or 3D prints, this is a product I'd recommend without hesitation. Five stars, well earned.
