For a long time, to decorate at holiday times I’ve used basic colored lights. Some companies call them party lights. Unfortunately, they’re not durable and their lifespan is as short as (or even shorter than) other standard incandescent bulbs. I thought these color-changing LED bulbs might be a good substitute. Here are my reactions:PROS:* They’re much brighter than I expected.* They fit standard (E26) household light fixtures so no adapter is needed.* They’re lightweight, but also feel quite sturdy.* You can change the color while they’re lit.* They’re perfect for adding a fun accent to a room’s ambience.* There isn’t another remote control to add to the stack that most people already have.* The price of this four pack seems reasonable.CON:* No app means no control over exact colors; you get red, green or blue and that’s it.For me, that simplicity is worth the tradeoff, but if you want specific shades, these bulbs aren’t for you.One suggestion to the manufacturer: there would be even more flexibility if there were an option for plain white light in addition to the three colors. If you want only basic colors with no app required, I think you’d be happy with these bulbs.

The best feature of these color-changing bulbs is wonderfully simple: there's a physical switch directly on the bulb. There is no app to download, no Wi-Fi network to configure, no Bluetooth pairing, no account to create, no firmware update, and perhaps most importantly, **no subscription fee**. Just use the switch on the bulb to cycle through the available red, green, and blue colors. It's refreshing to find a product that doesn't make a simple function unnecessarily complicated. The bulbs use a standard E26 base, so they install just like an ordinary household light bulb. The colors are bright and vivid, making them useful for parties, holidays, accent lighting, or simply changing the atmosphere of a room.At only 9 watts each, they're also an energy-efficient way to add colored lighting, and the four-pack provides enough bulbs to coordinate several lamps or fixtures in the same area.Overall, these are simple, effective, and inexpensive color-changing LED bulbs. The old-fashioned physical switch is actually their biggest advantage: choose a color and you're done. Sometimes the simplest solution really is the best one.

These look so nice at night! The colors are vibrant and bright, and the quality is there!

I was happy to find these color changing LED light bulbs because no apps were needed to change the color. I have way too many apps on my phone already and the thought of having to add another app to the overcrowded collection that already exists makes me ill. Okay, an app to control a light is very convenient, so why am I opposes to them? In addition to the pages of apps I have to deal with, I have had several bad experiences where the app failed to control its intended items such as “security camera light bulbs” and many other things. Install, failed to work, uninstall and reinstall, but still does not work. I was tired of all that. These use simple, old school technology for changing the colors, a simple switch on the bulb itself. While not as convenient as an app, assuming it works, I have not gotten so lazy as to not get up to change the light color. When I was a child, I recall being the “remote control” for the family TV set to turn it on or off, change channels and adjust volume. So, I’m used to doing things manually, LOL!Being LED bulbs, they are energy efficient, and at 9 watts they give off a nice bright light. Okay, your light color choices are limited to red, green and blue, but they make a nice mood light for when I am relaxing or having friends and family visit for any kind of occasion. I find the price for a set of four bulbs to be quite reasonable for being a specialty type of bulb. How long will these bulbs last? While I do not use them all of the time, with an anticipated 35,000 hour lifespan they should be able to provide me with enjoyment for many years

I was surprised by these Color Changing Light Bulbs. They were easy to install and worked right away in my light fixtures. The brightness is comparable to a regular 60 watt bulb and uses much less energy. The three color modes make it nice and easy to change the atmosphere of a room without having to change the light bulb and no need to order a smart bulb. (I eish it came with a remote atleast since its not smart and i just find it inconvenient to have to physically walk to each bulb to change color) anyway I use the different setting depending on the time of day, or what i have going on at the moment and it's a fun way to add a little extra ambiance without needing special fixtures or smart home equipment. The light is even without flickering, and the bulbs stay cool while its in use. They've been reliable so far and seem to be well made. If you want affordable LED bulbs that offer good brightness, energy savings, and the bonus of multiple color options, these would be a great choice. Im not sure how long these will last without burning out but so far so good and its been a few months. I believe the Item is as described and worth the cost.

I recently picked up this 4-pack of LED color-changing bulbs to add some ambient lighting to my home office and living room, and they have been an absolute joy to use. What really sold me on these is that they don’t require a phone app, a Bluetooth connection, or an unstable Wi-Fi setup to work. Instead, you just use a physical switch to toggle through the red, green, and blue color modes. It is incredibly refreshing to just flip a switch and instantly change the mood of the room without having to unlock my phone, open an app, and wait for a device to pair. The 9W output gives off the perfect amount of light—bright enough to vibrant up the room like a traditional 60W bulb, but highly energy-efficient. I used a couple of them last weekend to set up a festive, colorful vibe for a small get-together, and the colors were deep and rich rather than washed out. These bulbs have been a reliable way to add great ambient or party lighting to my space without the headache of smart-home tech clutter.

I like that these are made of very lightweight and basically shatter-proof material. And to be clear, these are very basic color-changing bulbs, but they do not cycle through colors automatically. There is a switch at the base of each bulb that can be flipped between red, green, and blue. Even though I don't recommend grabbing one while it is turned on, it's possible to switch the colors from one to another without turning it off. Once you choose the color, it stays that way until you change it manually. And that is pretty cool because sometimes you don't want the color constantly fluctuating where you have no control over it. I don't have to worry about losing a remote control because there isn't one. I can still use it if my phone dies because it doesn't need an app. I can just plug it in and turn it on to what I want. Yeah, I wish it had purple, but the colors are vibrant and pretty, and make the room have a different, nice feel to it. It's great for an ambiance change, if that is what you want. Having the 4 pack is great for if you are having a party, you can put them all around with the different colors, which would be very cool looking. But these are quality LED lights, which means that you can plan on them lasting for a very long time. Meaning, if you are just using one lamp, you'll have 3 bulbs in the drawer for the rest of forever. Not that that's a bad thing, I'm just saying. I feel that these are a good price for what you are getting.

These LED color changing lightbulbs are perfect for a transformational party that I’m currently designing. The front area of this party is going to be transformed into a jungle theme and to really help give the coloring I plan to use green lighting. Changing some of the rooms lightbulbs actually too green is just that’s awesome. If I was really crazy and I could reach the lightbulb that is in the hallway area, where we plan to build a waterfall, I would have that lightbulb turned to blue. But I don’t think ladders reach there and I’m thinking maybe the fourth lightbulb I will change in the bathroom area for the house that this is being designed in. Just to add a little bit more ambience to the whole set up. These bulbs come with three color modes in one switch you can go from cool blue to fresh green to warm red and no remote control is required. You just need to be able to reach the lightbulb. These are standard sizes lightbulbs so they fit the standard socket. I look forward to the other fun ways. I can use these for color changing lightbulbs, which are the equivalent to a 60 W lightbulb. I’m happy with this fun purchase and I would purchase these again. So if you’re in the market for color changing lightbulbs, I recommend these lightbulbs.
