It has hardware, instruction guide for drilling the holes and one how to install it onto the wall. It’s a strong metal that won’t bend. The mailbox is large. I felt like I was carrying a baby on my hip and I was holding it. It comes with three keys so that is more than enough spares. The top flap opens for mail insertion. There is a small window at the bottom so you can see if there is any mail in the mailbox. The only way to access the mail is with a key to open it. This provides security to your personal mail so you can feel at ease. I will say I wish they had an open sliding a lot so small packages could be inserted into the mailbox. This mailbox is bigger than the current mailbox on my house and I get small packages place in it all the time. I don’t know how mailboxes like this normally go for so I cannot say it’s worth buying for the price.

I’ve had a couple of mailboxes similar to this before. One was an outdoor package-style mailbox with a swing door, and another was an indoor medicine cabinet that actually shared a pretty similar overall design. After handling this one for the last couple of days, I can say it’s definitely a step above your average budget wall-mounted mailbox you usually see online.The first thing that stood out to me was the paint work. I really like the black and red color combination. I’m not sure if they offer other color options, but this one honestly looks surprisingly clean and modern. It gives off more of an apartment or contemporary style look instead of the usual plain generic mailbox appearance.It’s also larger than I expected. I measured it at roughly 16 inches tall by about 11 inches wide, and with the door open you get around 5 inches of depth. That gives you enough room for normal mail, magazines, padded envelopes, and even smaller packages. Still not huge, but definitely bigger than I originally thought it would be.One thing I didn’t like was that the keys come loose inside the mailbox itself. At first I thought they forgot to include them entirely until I started shaking the box around and heard them rattling inside. Then you basically have to tilt and maneuver the whole thing around trying to fish the keys out, which was a little annoying. On the plus side though, they do include a paper mounting stencil for installation, which was actually a pretty thoughtful addition.The metal body itself is still thinner stamped metal, but it feels reasonably rigid and better put together than I expected. The locking mechanism is very basic. You insert the key and rotate a small metal tab behind the door. Nothing fancy, but functional enough. The top mail slot is also designed in a way that should help keep moisture out, which I appreciated.Overall, the finish and alignment on mine were actually pretty decent. It honestly looked better in person than I expected from the listing. My main hesitation is long-term durability. Right now it feels solid enough for normal use, but longevity is going to matter a lot with something like this. If the paint starts fading or the seals and lock start wearing down after a year outside, then the price becomes harder to justify.That’s really where it sits for me. It’s not outrageously overpriced, but it does feel slightly high considering the thinner metal construction. At the same time, I’ve seen more decorative locking mailboxes in the $80–$120 range, and this doesn’t quite feel premium enough to fully enter that category either. So it ends up sitting in this middle ground where the long-term durability will really decide whether the price feels justified or not.
