[Size: 3X-Large, Color: Fr Black 1]
If you're a big guy that needs a fire resistant (FR) button up shirt, this is for you.I'm 6 foot 4 and right around 300 pounds right now, And the 3x had sleeves that were perfectly long enough, that I could actually tuck in with some assurance it would stay tucked in, And might actually have been just a little bit bigger around the chest torso then one would expect. (At my size I am used to garments being advertised as "going up to" a size that would fit me, but being really uncomfortable.) I'm half wondering if I could have got away with the 2XL.The material is quite heavy the cut is standard and the black color shirt quite elegant. The FR rating is prominently displayed on one shoulder to give the lawyerrs and supervisors comfort that you're wearing proper PPE.Haven't tested it, erm, Under fire yet. One thing to note About flame resistant materials is they are not supposed to act like structural firefighter bunker gear and let you pass through live flame unscathed. They will burn, as in a spark can make a, but the whole should not continue to burn or melt onto your skin like a non FR garment might. The only thing I complain about is the black shirt is listed as high vis, and there is nothing high vis about a black shirt. It shows certain kind of dirt less, but if you need to be seen in a night situation the black shirt is definitely not the one for you.Just because the caption is misleading, i've dropped a star. But if you work in a situation where you need it a high vis shirt, you will recognize right away that black just ain't it.That aside, very, excellent quality, liberally sized welding shirt that is really as large as clained.
Awesome shirts

As someone who has spent years around film production sets, live event environments, and industrial workspaces where safety compliance matters, this FR high-visibility work shirt stands out as a genuinely solid piece of protective gear. It balances durability, comfort, visibility, and professional appearance better than many work shirts in this category, especially at this price point. The heavy-duty cotton construction gives it a dependable feel right away, while the reflective striping provides strong visibility without making the shirt feel overly bulky or awkward. The 6.5oz flame-resistant cotton material feels substantial without becoming overly stiff, and it breaks in nicely after wear. The NFPA 2112 and CAT2 certifications add peace of mind for welding, electrical, industrial, and manufacturing environments where proper safety-rated clothing is essential. The reflective tape placement offers excellent 360-degree visibility, and the overall construction feels designed for real-world jobsite use rather than occasional wear. The button-front design, reinforced stitching, and practical chest pockets also help it function like true workwear instead of just safety apparel.Pros• Strong flame-resistant protection with recognized CAT2 and NFPA compliance• Reflective striping provides excellent visibility in low-light environments• Durable cotton material feels substantial and built for demanding work conditions• Comfortable fit allows good movement for welding, industrial, and shop tasksCons• Heavier material can feel warm during extreme summer temperatures• Traditional buttons may be less convenient than snap closures for some workers• Fit runs slightly roomy depending on layering preferenceOne of the more impressive aspects of this shirt is how balanced it feels between protection and usability. Many FR shirts can feel overly rigid, uncomfortable, or excessively industrial-looking, but this one manages to maintain a more wearable and professional appearance while still delivering the safety features required for hazardous environments. The stitching, reflective tape, and fabric quality all appear designed for repeated laundering and long-term use, which is important for anyone wearing FR gear regularly throughout the workweek.Final ThoughtsFinal ThoughtsThis FR safety shirt is well-suited for welders, electricians, industrial crews, mechanics, manufacturing teams, and anyone working in environments where both flame resistance and visibility matter. The material quality, durability, fit comfort, and overall visibility performance make it feel far more dependable than many lower-cost safety shirts currently available. While the heavier cotton construction may run warm in hotter climates and some users may prefer snap buttons, the overall combination of safety compliance, rugged material construction, long-term durability, and professional appearance delivers excellent value for serious jobsite use.

I bought this shirt because I work as a consultant for manufacturing companies, and that means I spend part of my life in conference rooms and part of it walking through shops where sparks fly around like they pay rent there. When I go on-site, I need to wear the right gear. I also prefer not to look like I borrowed a safety shirt from a traffic cone with a payroll problem. This one turned out to be a solid find. The first thing I noticed was that it felt like real workwear, not a costume version of it. The fabric has some weight to it at 6.5 oz, which I liked. It feels durable without being stiff in an annoying way. I got the navy blue in size Large, and the fit was good for moving around the shop, climbing stairs, leaning over equipment, and doing that awkward half-crouch people do when they want to look like they fully understand a production line. It gave me enough room without feeling baggy. The visibility is very good. The reflective striping stands out, and the Class 3 design makes it easy to be seen in a busy shop. That matters when you are around forklifts, weld stations, and people carrying steel like it weighs the same as a sandwich. I have worn other high-vis shirts that were either too thin, too stiff, or cut in a way that made me feel like a brightly colored mailbox. This one struck a better balance. It looks professional, and it still does the job.As for the FR protection, this shirt checked the boxes I needed. Seeing NFPA 2112 and CAT2 gave me more confidence than some cheaper options that make bold claims and then explain everything in tiny, suspicious wording. I am not eager to test flame resistance in a dramatic live-fire experiment, but for normal shop visits and welding environments, this feels like the kind of shirt you can trust to meet the standard it says it meets. In my line of work, that matters more than style points. It also held up well through wear and washing. The stitching looked solid, and the reflective material stayed in place better than on a few other work shirts I have owned. Some lower-priced safety shirts start acting tired after a couple washes. They fade, wrinkle oddly, or develop the posture of an abandoned tent. This one kept its shape and still looked respectable.Value-wise, I think it is good for what it is. FR and high-vis gear is rarely cheap, and it should not be if it is doing its job right. I would rather pay for a shirt that feels dependable than save a few dollars on one that makes me wonder if it was assembled out of optimism and leftover thread. Compared with similar shirts, this one feels like a smarter buy because it combines the safety features, decent comfort, and a more professional look.By the end of the day, I was sweaty, slightly dusty, and still visible from what felt like low orbit, which is probably the best compliment a shirt like this can get. If you need FR shop clothing for real industrial work, this is a strong option. FR, in this case, stands for 4 Real because this shirt is legit.
