I added these along my walkway, and they made a bigger difference than I expected. They give off a soft, warm light that's bright enough to light the path without being too harsh or overpowering. The bronze finish looks really nice during the day and blends in well with my landscaping. They have a classic look that works with just about any style of home or garden.Installation was straightforward, especially since the stakes and connectors were included. They connected easily to my existing low-voltage lighting system, and everything was up and running in no time.Even though they're compact, they provide plenty of light for outlining flower beds, sidewalks, or garden paths. I also like that the warm white color creates a welcoming feel instead of the bright blue-toned light that some landscape lights produce.Overall, I'm very happy with these path lights. They look great, feel well made, and give my yard a much more polished look at night. I'd definitely consider buying more to finish the rest of my landscaping.

These path lights were a pleasant surprise. The metal construction and glass light heads give them a much more substantial, premium feel than many plastic landscape lights. Once installed, they produce a warm 2700K glow that creates an inviting atmosphere while providing just the right amount of illumination for walkways and garden beds without being overly bright or harsh.I also appreciate that the fixtures use replaceable G4 LED bulbs instead of permanently sealed LEDs. That makes future maintenance much simpler and extends the useful life of the lights. Having two separate fixtures in the package made it easy to position them exactly where they were needed to highlight landscaping and improve pathway visibility. The only aspect that wasn't immediately obvious was the power connection. The included quick connector looks unusual if you're new to low-voltage landscape lighting. These lights are designed for a 12-volt AC low-voltage landscape lighting system, so they do not plug directly into a standard household outlet. Instead, they connect to the low-voltage cable that runs from a 12V AC landscape lighting transformer (sold separately). The quick connector is intended to clamp onto the two-conductor low-voltage landscape wire, piercing the insulation to make contact with the conductors. Once the transformer is plugged into a GFCI-protected outdoor receptacle, it steps household power down to the required 12V AC for the lights.Overall, these are attractive, well-built path lights that provide warm, elegant lighting and the convenience of replaceable bulbs. As long as you already have—or plan to install—a compatible 12V low-voltage transformer and cable, they make an excellent addition to a landscape lighting system and appear well worth the cost.

TL;DR: Heavy-duty, solid metal pathway lights with excellent build quality. They survived the scrutiny of a home inspector grandpa, look fantastic by the porch, and stand up as a true long-term investment.Straight out of the box, I was relieved to see that the build quality matches the price tag. These feel heavy, solid, and genuinely well-made.Living with grandpa means most of my decor ideas get shut down quickly—he’s a home inspector, so his standards are way over my head. Since these lights require setting up electrical connections (and I stay far away from wiring unless I want to burn the house down), I had to present this project to him first.Safe to say, he loves them! Even grandma chimed in to say how fantastic they’ll look once the porch remodel is finished. They definitely qualify as a worthwhile time investment because they're built to last.My only minor critique is the ground stake—I would have liked it to feel a bit beefier. But once planted, the heavy light fixture does all the work while the stake just keeps it anchored straight. Do I recommend them? Absolutely. They’re officially our new golden stars brightening up the steps!English is my second language, so I had a little AI help polishing my grammar—though passing grandpa's electrical inspection was 100% real!

I picked up this 2‑pack of GOLDEN STAR 12V G4 path lights as part of the ongoing upgrades we’ve been doing around the yard, and they fit right in with the rest of the low‑voltage lighting we’ve installed. We’ve used several GOLDEN STAR fixtures already — step lights, bollards, accent lights — and these continue that same pattern of solid construction, warm light output, and easy installation.Right out of the box, the fixtures feel well‑made. The die‑cast aluminum body has a good weight to it, and the glass light head gives them a more premium look compared to the thin plastic lights you often see in budget landscape kits. The bronze finish blends nicely with our other outdoor fixtures, and once installed, they look clean and intentional rather than cheap or flimsy. The fact that they use replaceable G4 LED bulbs is a big plus for me. I prefer fixtures where I can swap bulbs instead of replacing the entire unit when the LED eventually wears out. The included bulbs give off a soft 2700K warm white glow — perfect for walkways, garden edges, and patio borders. At 80 lumens, they’re bright enough to guide you along the path without overpowering the surrounding landscape.Installation was simple. The included stakes push easily into soil or mulch, and the quick connectors make tying them into a 12V landscape line straightforward. I already have a transformer and wiring in place, so it was just a matter of positioning the lights, securing the stakes, and snapping the connectors onto the line. Once powered up, the lights give off a warm, even glow that makes the walkway look much more finished. These are great for anyone wanting a clean, modern path light that still has a warm, inviting feel. GOLDEN STAR continues to deliver reliable, well‑built fixtures that look good and perform well.

I've been slowly restoring my yard lights after a few years of neglect, and dogs trampling them. These lights are similar in appearance to the square bollard style I got from the local big box store, but much better made. The upper section is metal, with a glass top, while the spike appears to be fiber reinforced plastic. These should be able to take a few hits without breaking.Installing is straightforward, with the included double pierce connector. I had to separate my wires to align with the connector contacts, but otherwise it worked fine.Light color is spot on and matches the rest of the 2700k lights I have.Overall, these are not the cheapest lights out there, but well made and a good value for the price.

Contemporary low-voltage landscape lights that illuminates a sufficient amount of space without consuming precious wattage. It can be tricky to figure out how to light up a yard without exceeding the limitations of your transformer. With each light being only 1.2 Watts it would take approximately 225 lights (with an included 30% buffer) to max out a 300 landscape lighting transformer. A 2700k landscape light for an inviting soft amber glow that compliments flagstone, bricks, or concrete blocks to name but a few to specifically enhance golden and brown tones. They are very high-end in appearance with a clean aesthetic look due to their minimalist design. The long-term integrity of the plastic steaks can very well ruin everything if they are not secured in the ground properly. Prepping the holes before inserting the stakes can potentially eliminate the possibility of causing damage. The stakes are made from a high-quality plastic that is thick and somewhat pliable which prevents them from snapping. These lights are a bit top heavy due to the frosted glass lens (cover), proper placement of the stakes will help keep the fixture secure. The lights are pre-wired to a connector that is compatible with 12, 14 and 16 gauge low-voltage landscape lighting wire. The instructions do not mention whether the connectors are waterproof. I would deduce they are not, either way I would recommend wrapping them with electrical tape or a waterproof self-fusing silicone tape. They are an easy in-line connector to use.I have installed these lights on either side of the bottom landing at our side door. I love the way they look and prefer them over the step lights that we used to use. It takes a bit of upwards force to pull the lens off the light in order to access the LED bulb. A minor inconvenience when compared to the practical nature of being able to replace a bulb rather than the entire light. These lights seamlessly integrate into an existing landscape lighting systems and are an exceptional choice for beginners.

Saw these low voltage landscape lights while browsing on Amazon. Thought these were nice and looked more like a specialty light more than a path light. So, I ordered them, they are square tube about two inches square, and a height of about 9.5 inches tall. There is a stake that screws into the base of the metal tube, allowing you to stake the light into the ground. I plan on using these in larger planters with plants around them, There is a connecting clip on the endof the connecting cable, which makes them really easy to install by laying the power supply cord into the connector so it lays over the two points that will pierce the supply wire. Then you screw the clamp together and it squeezes the cord and the two points connect into the power supply line. This provides the power to the light. The lights are well made and have a high end appearance. They aren't your typical lights you would see at the big box hardware stores. Nice to have something different than everybody else. These don't give off a lot of light, only 80 lumens, but the light temp is nice and warm and there is enough light to illuminate a reasonable area, something like the landing of deck stairs or the start of a path or sidewalk. Nice looking low voltage landscape light, the are made from metal and frosted glass, should hold up to the elements for years to come. Pleased with the appearance and the price, Would order again.
