I've been wanting to replace the shiny gold lever door handles in our house for a while. The 2003 remodel that produced those crazy gold levers was not working for our 2026 household. Cost is a concern for any remodeling project, so when I found this 10-pack of door knobs, I was ecstatic.I love the smooth, satin finish. The lock isn't very reliable, but we didn't need locks on any of our interior doors, so it's not a loss. It's a bit of a "get what you pay for" situation. If you're looking for a true locking interior doorknob, this might not be for you.The only drawback was the installation. The long screws that hold the knob together are nearly impossible to attach with a regular impact driver unless you have an extra, extra long bit. I was stuck with a manual screwdriver since it was the only thing long enough to clear the angle and screw in. I ended up with a nasty blister on my palm from having to twist the screwdriver. Needless to say, I'm not looking forward to installing the other 9 knobs... but they do look nice.Over all, they could be some improvements, but it's a good value for the asking price.
