Installation was straightforward and the shelves felt secure once everything was tightened down properly. Very attractive shelves and well engineered. The shelves are great looking and the wood patterned coating seems to be durable and scratch resistant. They should hold up to normal household usage without any problem.These are fairly easy to install and sturdy, with three screws per shelf. This will be most solid when one or more of the screws are put into a stud, per the instructions, but they work fine for just drywall with anchors as long as you don't overload the shelf. You probably won't be able to put it into two studs, since most wall studs are spaced 16" apart (center to center). The screws and anchors that were provided are pretty long for standard drywall at 1.5" long however, so if you want to be more confident in a drywall only mounting, use shorter screws and anchors (1 inch is probably better).I wanted to use these in my garage, but since they're made of "engineered wood" (think particle board), I am not sure they will hold up with the high humidity and temperature changes. So, recommend they be used inside as discussed in the description.Overall, a pretty good value and nice looking shelves that should do the job well and last.
