I ordered these to help paint the back of a garage that has another building adjacent, meaning I can't lean a ladder against the garage in the usual sense. I needed a way to extend my spray gun almost 6 feet to reach the peak and along the roof line. This extension kit did the trick - but without problems, all my own.You see, I fitted the three longest to my Magnum spray gun and immediately had leaks. I had two of the nylon washers in backwards (taper was inward), but once I got that straightened out, I was able to spray for a half hour or so before I had another leak, right at the spray tip. Cleaning and retightening helped, but there was a small drip nonetheless. My solution was to use one layer of teflon tape to seal the threads, but looking back, the gasket was always the problem. Anyhow, I still got the paint applied in less than a hour and am pleased with the performance of the extensions. Very easy to use, durable (no wear or any threads acting up). Going forward, I'm going to invest in some Graco washers to solve the leakage problems. Still, I don't think using 3 extensions in a row is the norm, so no penalty to the seller/maker.These are a bargain compared to the brand name stuff at the big box stores. Great airless paint sprayer extention poles; they fit my Graco sprayer perfectly. I love that it came with all various sizes, allowing you to use the one you need for the job. Very well made, durable set. No leaking and easy to install and use. This set is perfect for any painter and has an extension for any job. A great value for the price of the money. These poles are useful, durable and easy to clean. Theyll last a long time if cleaned and cared for properly.

So I have a love hate relationship with spraying paint but every time I make the effort to spray I am always so enamored how fast things go once you finally get done prepping and starting painting. There are so many ways to use a spray gun that your results will vary based on all your controllables. I have noticed the longer the extension you use the more likely it is to "spit" and put a defect in your paint job. I know they make checkvalves that go at the end of the wand to reduce that spitting but rather than avoid it I decided to lean in and focus on starting "off the paper" and holding it he flow until I'm "off the paper again". I say all that above to say an artist shouldn't blame their pencil - used correctly these extensions are top notch. The metal is smooth and has no sharp edges from manufacturing. The anodizing is even and the color looks great. The threads are cut correctly such that these extensions shouldn't damage your gun or nozzle respectively. I think this set is a great value and the learning curve is very short. I would highly suggest you practice with a primer during a phase that it doesn't matter that much if you have a couple spots to touch up with a sander before the final coat. Long extensions like these definitely help you avoid ladders and could save you a significant amount of time. Having now used these I would suggest then to anyone wanting to paint walls or ceilings. I don't think I would use these to paint cabinets for what it's worth.

More is better, I think? Having 8, 10, & 12 is not a big difference compared with 8 v. 20; but I have a couple sprayers and this was inexpensive enough that I can get some use out of the different lengths. The threading is decent, not perfect, yet good enough. My main concern is the gaskets; I'm not sure if they'll seat well enough or not yet, and I have nothing to spray today. The color is a pretty blue/green anodized aluminum that will be covered in paint in no time. These are handy extensions for a little better control when working at heights when your ladder is slowly, step by step, changing the distance between you and your surface; it gives you more range between setups. They're also handy for doing tall ceilings without needing a scaffold or ladder; and coupled with an angle swivel tip, you can do low as well without stressing your back. So, it comes down to whether you need 3 of the 4 to be within 2-4" of each other; most won't, and that's why it loses a star.
