These wooden appliques are absolutely beautiful. I have worked with wooden appliques before and liked the way those projects turned out, but looking at these, I expect this set to look even better.The quality seems very high, and honestly, they look better than some similar pieces I recently purchased at a big box home store. The grain looks like it should take paint or stain well, though I will not know for certain until I try it. Everything about them suggests they will be easy to work with and should finish beautifully.I originally planned to use these on an older mirror I wanted to upgrade, but I ended up finding a different mirror that worked perfectly as it was. Now I am considering using them on an old chest of drawers, cabinet doors, or even as decorative wall details. They are versatile enough that I know I will find the right project for them.One thing I would mention for anyone new to wooden appliques is that the finishing details matter. Getting the color match right is important, and so is using caulk carefully if there are gaps. Depending on whether you paint or stain, you may want paintable caulk, matched caulk, or another method that will blend in well. Clear caulk does not always disappear as much as you might expect.I cannot really comment yet on long-term adhesion because that depends so much on the surface, adhesive, and installation method. But as far as the appliques themselves go, this seems like a solid, well-made product at a great price.I would happily buy more if I need another set. As always, I will update if any complications come up, but I do not expect any.

These are GORGEOUS!!! The carvings are perfection and the details, edges, pits and voids are beautiful! It’s amazing they’ve been able to get such fine details without compromising the strength of the wood!These will be so beautiful is painted, stained or otherwise decorated! I’ll be painting mine and putting them on my bathroom cabinet doors!Cannot praise these enough!!!HUGE 5⭐️!!

**1st update: I added a photo of the large pieces with just the first coat of hammered copper paint. Obviously, there’s a lot of detail work to paint because of all the scroll work. But this material accepts paint so easily that the job is flying by. Amazing. I am even happier than I was when I wrote the review yesterday.**This is the second carved wooden onlay set I ordered from this company. And both have exceeded my expectations by a mile.These are such a fantastic price that I honestly was expecting them to be cardboard thin. But they are NOT. They are large and thick but still lightweight. An absolutely beautiful set.My husband and I are redoing our common room and decided that we wanted some architectural embellishment that will look original and built-in. Our home is old and has plenty of quirky character traits, but very little fancy detail. Rather than just hanging regular wall art, we have been searching brick and mortar stores for these types of appliqués for weeks. Everything we found was 1) not this nice 2) not this big and 3) was actually more expensive! That said, while I jumped at the chance to order these, I did have my doubts because of this fantastic price! I am so glad that I ordered them because they are absolutely perfect.The large size is great, they are beautiful, will be super easy to install, the perfect semi-rough surface to easily apply paint, sturdy but still look delicate and lovely… just stunning.I have a couple more days of work to do before I can put these up, but I will definitely be updating my review when the job is done. But my husband and I were so excited by the quality of these that I had to jump on here and share how much they exceeded our expectations. They are everything we needed. Zero complaints. We love them. I will likely need to order more and now I know exactly where to go!!

This is a large and fully carved solid wood onlay with a separate matching center medallion.This is an absolutely beautiful wood carving that can be stained or painted . I thought I was ordering matching center pieces but I ordered the long piece which measures " 40x9.5cm/15.75"x3.74" and the medallion instead. Regardless, I thought I would be ordering more so it's fine either way as you can order any number of matching pieces. This piece is incredibly versatile because of its thickness it can even be used for open drawer insets, etc. The wood is extremely light but very sturdy and it doesn't have any bend to it at all.The value in this is high. The price point is low.
