I have my favorite rocking chair in a corner of the living room. While I love to read while sitting there, the chair side lamp just doesn’t provide enough direct light to help me see the print clearly. Because the chair is in the corner, the overhead light doesn’t do much either. When I saw the design of this light, I realized that maybe I could have overhead light from a floor lamp instead. With the lamp behind my rocking chair and the adjustable light overhead, it has solved my in adequate lighting issue. I can read in my favorite chair! I like the quality. Everything feels strong and sturdy. It looks good and the linen shade blends in seamlessly with my decor. Assembly was easy and within 25 minutes, the light was in use. There is one thing I didn’t care for though. I wish the power cord was threaded down to the lamp base. As it is, it threads down the tube that supports the lamp head. It doesn’t look tidy just dropping to the floor. In the first photo on the product page, this is well camouflaged with the cord pretty much invisible running the dark line of a fold of the curtain behind it. The remaining photos reveal this untidiness. However, for this price point, it is a good lamp and offers good value for the money.

This lamp is a fine option if you are in a college dorm or a temporary living situation like a rental. It’s a functioning lamp, and it has some definite upgrades to its style compared to cheap dollar store lamps; however, manage expectations as this entire lamp comes in a box that is about one cubic foot. It’s much more in line with IKEA level assembly and quality than it is restoration hardware. Of course, so is the price, so this is not necessarily a negative so much as it is a reality check of what you were wanting and how long you intend to use it for and what quality and your ability you’re expecting for the price you pay. It’ll do the job fine to shine light where you need it for a few years probably, but it’s not likely to be something I would want to put in a well-designed custom home (if I had one lol).

This floor lamp exceeded my expectations. It was easy to assemble, feels sturdy, and adds a modern, elegant touch to my living room. The arched design fits perfectly over my couch and provides excellent light for reading or relaxing.I love that the brightness and color temperature are fully adjustable, so I can switch from bright white light for working to a warm, cozy glow in the evening. The remote control is incredibly convenient and works flawlessly from across the room.The included LED bulb is bright and energy-efficient, and the overall quality is excellent for the price. I absolutely love this lamp. It is strong and well-made. It was super easy to put together. You just screw each piece into itself and then assemble the lampshade and hang it up. I love that. It even comes with its own lightbulb. That’s rare to find nowadays, it comes with a remote and batteries! The value keeps increasing and increasing with this lamp. What’s the remote you can adjust the brightness as well as the bulb temperature so if you want it to be warmer, you can adjust it or if you want it to be cooler, you can adjust it. You can dim it for the evenings which creates a warm and relaxing ambience. I have it in my dining room and I may change the lightbulb to a grow light because of the way it hangs over my plants. It would be perfect. It’s a nice brushed black finish that blend seamlessly into any decor. The base is super heavy so you don’t have to worry about it getting knocked over easily. It just looks really nice in my space and I’m happy with it.

I ordered this lamp in black with a linen lampshade. It was well-made, a breeze to assemble, and has a weighted base so it will not tip over easily. The manufacturer provided a wrench to assemble the lamp. It also comes with a bulb and magnetized remote (with timer) that can be attached to the lamp pole and to adjust brightness for everything from reading to relaxing. The lamp is tall but can be adjusted by simply moving the top arm up and down or side to side to direct the light where most needed. It is more stylish than just a straight pole lamp and looks great next to my sofa. You can't beat this lamp for the price.

I am using this for puzzles and it is great for that! It is a nice brightness level (and adjustable), and I love that you can change the color "temperature." The remote is fantastic, and I love that it magnetically sticks to the lamp pole!When I opened the box and saw that I had to assemble the lampshade, I'll admit I wasn't sure I was up to it. The instructions (pictures) weren't great either. But I gave it a shot, and it was actually really simple to put together. The lampshade is a nice linen.It is nice that you can change the height by deciding how many of the segments to use. I left one segment out so that it isn't too high and that is just right for me - it keeps the light close to my puzzles.

I’ve been really impressed with this floor lamp, especially for the price. Setup was genuinely simple and tool-free, just screw the sections together and it’s ready to go in minutes. Once assembled, it feels sturdy and stable thanks to the heavy base, which is reassuring if you have carpet or pets and don’t want something wobbling around.One feature I didn’t expect but actually really like is that the base appears to be magnetized, meaning the remote can stick right to it. It sounds like a small thing, but it makes a huge difference when you’re tired of constantly asking, “Where did I put the remote?”The lighting itself is excellent. The brightness is highly adjustable, and having different color warmth options makes it much more versatile than a standard floor lamp. You can go with a warm, cozy light for relaxing in the evening, a more natural tone for everyday use, or cooler white light for reading or working. Being able to fine-tune both brightness and color temperature really helps create the right atmosphere without eye strain.I also appreciate how adjustable the lamp is physically. It’s relatively tall, which makes it ideal for positioning behind a chair or sofa for reading, and the height of the bulb/shade can be adjusted quite easily by feeding more of the power cord through the frame if you want the light positioned higher or lower. The adjustable arm also helps direct light where you actually need it without moving the whole lamp.The remote control is genuinely useful too, especially when sitting down with a book or watching TV and not wanting to get up to make changes. Combined with the inline switch, you’ve got convenient control either way.Overall, this feels like very good value for money, sturdy, functional, customizable, and thoughtfully designed in ways that make daily use easier. A great option if you want a flexible lamp for a reading corner, bedroom, or living room.If I had one criticism it would be the lamp shade. It comes rolled up and clips together so there is a little dimple in it but overall, it’s minor and would not prevent me from buying this again for other rooms

Saying I love this light would be an understatement. I adore this light, I really didn't think I was going to love it, I thought it was going to be another one of those tall standing lamps that's always slightly crooked and is cheaply made somehow. But just like all those others I had to assemble this one section by section and I was thinking that the whole time until I got to the bottom and realized there was also a wrench to tighten it to the bottom so you don't end up with that forever spend that you can't tighten at the bottom. The bottom is very heavily weighted to counter the lamp so it doesn't lean to the wrong direction it does do what it's supposed to do I actually swivel it from one side of my bedroom to the other side on a daily basis and adjust the length of how far down it goes depending on what I'm doing. I love the fact that it has remote, I do recommend that you get some velcro and velcro that thing to the side of the lamp and get a spot that you can velcro it to wherever you need to turn it off at night. The lamp is included with a bulb that allows you to change it from warm light to cool light from low to Bright and it also has a timer setting on it, so the remotes pretty important to keep a hold of. But like I said back to the lamp great quality I have zero complaints. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for this style of lamp.
