Worked great for a sink faucet that water lines were lower than normalMaterial feels well made and should be durable, the steel braided hoses should keep it from bursting or bulging like the rubber hoses.Installation is straightforward, and only thing needed is to apply teflon tape to the threads and when mating connections do not overly tight them.Both the threaded ends turn with normal effort and when it stops turning the hoses are tight and water doesn’t leak outGreat price for the kit when I compared it to the Local hardware store.Good price, does the job a good quality materials that should last the life of the faucet.

Very nice set of water supply lines. I'm a landlord and you have to keep up with things like leaking waterlines or you'll end up with a whole lot of expensive damage. These have been the right length for most of my bathroom sinks as I've been changing my plumbing over to PEX. They are about 15 1/2" inches long. Just under the 16" that they claim. Be sure to measure your old lines before ordering these.The water flow isn't restricted and the water line is protected from accidental damage by the stainless braided covering. Renters can be brutal! I like to keep my properties up and changing out old leaking supply lines is a lot cheaper than costly repairs. At less than $9 per faucet, I think these are a great value.I like how easy they are to install. No teflon tape required. It even has a built in nut tightener that fits both the 3/8" and the 1/2" nuts. It can't be removed, so you will have that little yellow nut wrench on there, but it makes for a tool free install and removal if you have to change out the faucet at some point in the future. I had to use tools to break the old ones free, but install was by hand only. Finger tight resulted with no leaks. I'll keep a check on them from time to time and if I have an issue, I'll be sure to update my review. So far, so good.

So on reflection I actually used the wrong items on my project, but sometimes you make do with what you've got. I needed to combine hot and cold water from my sink for a bidet sprayer. These hoses worked well as my initial idea, however as I got going I realized I did order the wrong end. Nevertheless these hoses fit the compression fittings well and the ½ inch nipple I used. The hoses come with a plastic nut adapter so you can tighten the hose without a wrench if absolutely needed, however if you do turn too hard they will strip off the nut. The hoses didn't leak with Teflon tape and were flexible enough to fit in the area I needed. Overall these are decent hoses and the plastic nut tightened is a bonus.

Haven’t finished hooking then up, but seems of good to excellent quality and has a little plastic wing nut driver that slides from one side to the other making installation very easy to tighten

I came across these just in time for my remodel; a package of 6 enough for my kitchen and 2 bathrooms. These 16" long burst proof water supply lines are made by SMZTools. Having the braided stainless steel outer sheath keeps the water lines from forming a bubble and then bursting; this is fantastic. I would rather have a small leak that I would see and then fix, rather than having the hose burst unexpectantly and then a water diaster. Both ends of the water lines have the standard 1/2" pipe threads and 3/8" compression fitting on the other end; both ends have EPDM rubber seals. A lot of times these rubber seals are damaged because they get overtighten and this results in a groove being cut into the rubber seal drastically shortening their life. SMZTools has made these water supply lines toolless, (you do not need tools to install them), SMZTools has installed a yellow tightening nut onto the hose, non-removeable; therefore it will be there for future use. This tightening was designed to supply the right amount of torque to tighten the connection without damaging the seals. When you tighten one connection just slide the yellow tightening nut down the supply line and tighten the final connection. I like the toolless design and I recommend SMZTools Stainless Steel Braided Water Supply Lines.

Works as intended… this has the commonly used 3/8” compression fitting to attach to your shut off valve and the 1/2” fitting most faucets use. Most shut off valves are the 3/8” compression size with a 1/2” size much less commonly used.You will want to measure the length you need, you can’t stretch these, but a couple inches too long can be bent and twisted to fit, just don’t kink the hose, which is harder to do with these stainless steel supply lines.Par for the course on build, the stainless steel braided hose has the standard EPDM rubber inside with a reinforced PVC shell. The stainless steel braided portion provides additional burst protection as well as a good looking UV protection to the PVC shell. The cheaper PVC shell hoses yellow and become ugly with age.This is designed to seal via the rubber compression fittings does not need thread tape. These include a built in winged wrench to tighten the fittings, something I haven’t seen before. This will be okay under a sink cabinet, but won’t look so great in an exposed location. The wrench is double ended/sized to tighten both ends. Rubber compression fittings don’t need an overly tight , they seal with rubber not tightened like a pipe thread. Over tightening will distort and tear the rubber causing a leak, under tightening will leak also, so find your happy balance.Price is great for a 6 pack. (If you need that many anyway).
