The nail gun 18GA with a nail slot capacity for 100 nails is well made. It looks like it came used and/or was opened previously. The box was taped all over and no instructions came. The color of the nail gun doesn't match the picture on the box.You can use this nail gun for upholstery, to nail wood.It is also available as a nail gun to nail into concrete, and a stronger nail gun for longer nails for wood.You will need to search the instructions if you are not familiar with using one of these nail guns.It is considerably sturdy, and heavy. The gun will insert the nail to the chosen spot with precision.At $28.49 at the time of this review, the nail gun is a good value, and I do recommend it for those who know how to use it.

I bought this as an inexpensive pneumatic nail gun for woodworking and DIY projects, and overall I'm really happy with it. The instructions aren't particularly helpful, and I had to do a little figuring out to make sure I was using the right brads. Once I got that sorted out, though, it was very easy to use.It takes 18-gauge brads from 10-30mm and holds up to 100 at a time, so I can get quite a bit done before having to reload. Loading it is straightforward, and it has both a single-shot setting and a rapid-fire setting. The rapid setting is surprisingly quick when you need to get through a larger project.It's also lightweight and comfortable to hold, which I really appreciate when I'm working on a project for a while. It has been firing smoothly for me without jams, and it has plenty of power for the kinds of woodworking and upholstery projects I've used it for.My biggest downside is the lack of a safety feature. The gun will fire when you pull the trigger even if it isn't pressed against a work surface, so you definitely need to be mindful of where you're pointing it and keep your finger off the trigger when you're not ready to fire. I would much prefer to see a contact safety on a tool like this.The versatility is probably one of my favorite things about it. This 18-gauge pneumatic nailer has sped up trim and light framing-adjacent work in the garage. A 100-nail capacity means fewer reloads, air power is consistent once the compressor is set, and 18ga is the right class for the finish/trim jobs we actually do. It’s louder than a hammer and much faster.Wear eye protection and learn the bounce. For household carpentry that used to be a handful of nails at a time, this gun has been a time saver.

This nail gun has definitely **nailed it** for me! It works smoothly, is easy to load, and doesn't take a lot of effort to figure out. Just load it up, connect it, and you're ready to start tackling your project. It feels well made and is a nice quality tool for DIY projects, woodworking, upholstery, and more. So far, it has worked exactly as expected and makes getting the job done much easier! Box was taped up really good.

It works really well. The trigger is sensitive and it fires a nail every time I pull it. Without missing a beat. 18 gauge nails fit perfectly.I really enjoyed the loading mechanism. Easy to use and clicks in place quite nicely locking the nails in tight.This gets four stars for the fact that it has no safety on it. You can squeeze the trigger and it fires a nail whether it's pressed onto wood or not....Plus the air nipple on the back was extremely tightly fitted in place and it was fluted so it didn't fit my hose setup. I was able to replace it but the tightness made it quite annoying.To replace the nipple on the back, you need to use a 9/16 wrench and a 13/16 wrenchSee the video and you can see how nicely it shoots

This tool arrived with almost unintelligible and barely useful instructions with zero indication of what size nails to buy for it. And the instructions say Air Stapler on them which this isn't. Aside from the graphic on both sides of the box, the nail carriage itself has a sticker on it to indicate what kind of nails to get for it. And after a few minutes of looking things over online, it's not that hard to choose which nails (actually brads) to buy. Start with 18 gauge. Then choose the length you need, from 3/8" up to 1 3/16". The brads available come in various lengths and all seem to be 18 gauge. And fortunately, they are also fairly inexpensive. So, for light woodworking, upholstery work, crafting and countless other tasks requiring brads instead of nails, this gun is just the ticket. It holds up to 100 brads and is lightweight and easy to use. It also has two nailing settings. A one shot setting and a rapid fire setting, where up to 70 brads per minute can be shot. It can operate at between 4 and 8 bar, which is 58 to 116 PSI. Why they don't just write the PSI is beyond me. And on top of that, the instructions say that the pressure must get to 0.4 Mpa and not above 0.8 Mpa to operate. Mpa stands for Megapascals and again, why would they use such terminology? Who measures anything in megapascals? Just remember to stay within 58 to 116 PSI and you'll be good. So, aside from the poor documentation that comes with it, there is no safety feature on this gun. Pull the trigger, a nail comes out. Whether it's pressed against anything or not. Beware. Not a big deal if you are careful. It works well. Smooth, fast, no jams. Easy to load, too. A little over 2 pounds, so all day use is possible without fatigue. The listing says it's impact resistant, water and dust proof. I think it's an excellent tool and a good value as well.
