I wish I saw these sooner. These are the perfect thing to use to fix the holes in my ceiling after removing the square AC ducts in my house. They are really easy to use, they do not come with their own screws so make sure you have drywall screws handy. They made it super quick to put in a patch piece of drywall and start mudding and taping the seams to get the ceiling air-tight again. When done right, you don't even know it's there. Just make sure you're getting the tabs to flex behind the drywall so leave a little bit of room around the edge, I found that to be helpful.

I have a few holes in my walls from some wiring work I've been doing in my house. I kept the squares of gypsum and used these to repair the damage. The clips hold the gypsum in plane with the surrounding wall well and allowed me to tape and seal the repair easily. I think the price is good for what you get. These clip in place very easily and help make the entire job much easier. They also provide a permanent structural support for the patch since they generally don't bear all the way to a stud. The included screws are nice and aid in the overall installation as well.Overall, I think this is a great product with a fair price. If you have some repairs you need to do, this will help you make the repairs successfully with long term durability.

These drywall repair clips are a really smart and easy solution. Instead of cutting and fitting wood behind the wall for support, you just slide four of these around the edge of the hole, screw them in, add your patch piece, and screw that down too. Then snap off the tabs, mud over it, and sand — it looks like nothing was ever there.The repair feels surprisingly solid. I wouldn’t hang heavy stuff from it, but it’s definitely stronger than a makeshift wood patch. My only small note is that the tabs don’t always break off cleanly. I had one that needed a cable cutter to trim the edge so it wouldn’t poke through the mud.Overall, this is a clean, professional-looking fix that’s way simpler than the old-school method.

I have horizontal hairline cracks in my finished drywall basement from a poor quality install. These cracks run between many of the drywall sheets. Whomever the previous owner was, the contractor they chose ran the sheets of drywall horizontal instead of vertical, creating more seams/joints than necessary. The joints have too much flex, more than a heavy duty drywall tape can support. I decided to try these clips and I’m glad I did. I notched the drywall and installed these clips into the seams between studs and they have made the once flexible seam tight and strong. I don’t get any flex between sheets like I did before. The screws bite into the clip with impressive holding power. Sometimes the tabs that need to be broken off are a little tricky to remove, but I think that’s probably normal with a strong metal clip like this. Price is 25% more than local box stores for an identical product, so that’s not great, but I understand not everyone has local box stores nearby. Regardless, I have no doubt this is going to hold and feel confident my days of annoying hairline cracks is over.
