Looks more like a small dagger than a typical flipper

[Color: Heritage Walnut]
This Nordic pocket knife is a very unique, quirky folding knife. When it is opened, it looks more like a dagger than a standard flip knife, which is the whole appeal of the Heritage Walnut version. The 3.9-inch D2 steel blade, liner lock, and 3D retro embossed pattern give it a different presence than a plain EDC folder. It stands out in the hand and on a desk without looking like every other clip knife. It is easy to open, and the blade is sharp. The pattern on the handle is interesting and matches the retro styling instead of feeling like a random texture stamped on for show. D2 is a practical steel for an everyday or outdoor knife, and the liner lock engages with enough confidence for normal use. It is not a tiny utility blade. The open profile is part of why it works as a gift and as a conversation piece. This would make a great gift for someone who wants something unique rather than another generic black folder. Cool look, sharp blade, easy action, and a design that does not blend in. I would buy this Heritage Walnut version again.

Beautiful Collectible Pocket KnifeBeautiful Collectible Pocket Knife

[Color: Heritage Walnut, Color: Heritage Walnut]
This is a really nice-looking pocket knife. The engraved handle and wood inlay give it a unique vintage style that stands out from a standard folding knife. It looks even better in person than I expected. The flipper opens the blade smoothly with one hand, and the liner lock was easy to release when closing it. The blade came sharp right out of the box and handled basic cutting tasks without any issues. One thing that surprised me was how good it felt in my hand. It has a nice weight to it and feels very well balanced. It isn't too light or too heavy, which makes it comfortable to hold and use.I also like that it has a pocket clip for carrying, but for me this is more of a collectible or display piece because of the decorative design. If you enjoy collecting unique knives, this is a fun addition that looks great, feels solid in the hand, and works just as well as it looks.

Love the dagger lookLove the dagger look

Excellent heavy knife with a solid blade. The Nordic knife has that clean dual edge that is surprisingly sharp and holds a good edge. The mechanism is quick, yet locks up solid. Overall it has a good size blade. You do have to remember to be careful when closing, but the side guards give you an ample amount of grab to safely close the blade. The intricate styling and wood insert gives it a classic feel. So far well placed with the knife and feel it is a decent value for the money with the quality blade and heft.

Sharp, Well-Built Everyday Pocket Knife!

[Color: Heritage Walnut]
This pocket knife offers a great balance of quality, functionality, and style. The 3.9-inch blade is a versatile size that’s suitable for a variety of everyday tasks without feeling too bulky. It arrived fairly sharp right out of the box and was ready to use with minimal touch-up.The overall build quality is impressive, with a solid, sturdy feel that inspires confidence during use. The retro embossed handle pattern also gives it a unique look that stands out from more basic folding knives while still providing a comfortable grip.Overall, this is a well-made folding knife that performs as expected and offers excellent value for the price. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable everyday carry knife.

Nordic Pocket Knife for Men, 3.9" D2 Steel Folding Knife with 3D Retro Embossed PatternNordic Poc...

[Color: Heritage Walnut, Color: Heritage Walnut]
This is a beautiful knife that is a beautiful conversation piece, has a pocket clip for easy EDC use and perfectly portable. The first time I opened the blade, it did not lock in place, which in my experience, is typical for a new flip open knife. So on the second flip attempt, I added a little more power to my wrist snap and voila, seated perfectly and the linear lock engaged. Basically, the knife needed to be worked in and this also let me know by feel that it has NEVER been used before and once worked in, it opened smoothly and locked without issue. As you can see in the attached video, it opens smoothly and has a very distinct Nordic look and feel. The Nordic relief design adds a unique artistic look and the relief also accentuates the non-slip grip. The blade is double edged, however the inside blade is nice and sharp while the outside blade edge appears sharpened, yet it is dull, allowing it to be legally carried in my state. The blade is D2 steel that is vacuum heat-treated to 62 HRC for peak edge retention. The inlay Micarta handle is moisture-resistant and ergonomically shaped, making for a reliable surface and easy grip. This is a perfect collectors knife and in my case a PERFECT birthday present for my father. A definite great value for the money.

Excellent Double Edge Nordic Pocketknife with Some FlawsExcellent Double Edge Nordic Pocketknife ...

[Color: Heritage Walnut, Color: Heritage Walnut]
The Nordic pocketknife is well made and has a beautiful, embossed pattern on the front and back. It also has a nice rosewood inlay that adds beauty to the knife. On mine, the inside is sharp; however, the outside is not sharp enough to cut. The outside is what is used to close the knife so there's no danger just because it's a double edge blade. The measurements are as described and it's much heavier than its brass cousin. Even still it has some weight and feels good in the hands. Cutting is no problems.I like the belt clip on the back. It allows quick access when needed and eliminates the need for a knife sheath. The design on the blade is an added touch; however, on mine it is uneven - the middle goes to the left about 1/8 inch. It just looks sloppy and really takes away from the overall beauty. All in all, the GEXAL Nordic Pocket Knife is a nice collector's edition. The inlay can be engraved for that special someone if desired.

Be very careful returning the blade back

[Color: Onyx Black]
Looks cool, slides out easy enough. However, due to the blade being double sided, you run the risk of cutting your finger like I did when returning the blade back into the knife. Unless you're very proficient with double-edged blades, I'd be super careful purchasing this for beginners. But for someone who's good with knives, it looks nice and feels good in your hand weight-wise.

Has a good weight to it, locking mechanism seems adequate, not hard to flip out. The only complaint or suggestion I would make is, you have to close the knife but it has a double sided blade so you have to be careful not to close it with your hand on the blade.
