[Material Type: ER70S-6 Mild Steel, Size: 3/32"]
These ER70S-6 filler rods weld really well and are a good choice for general mild steel TIG work. They feed smoothly into the puddle, flow nicely, and produce clean, consistent welds with a stable arc. The 3/32" size is useful for a wide range of fabrication and repair jobs, and the 16" length is easy to handle at the welding table or in the field. The rods arrived straight and in good condition, and the 3 lb package gives you plenty to keep on hand. Overall, good quality filler rod that performs exactly like it should.

These are quite useful rods, easy to use, which are particularly good at leaving an even weld when you are working with thicker materials. Had no reason to try to use them for cutting- I have other tools for that purpose. Good value., would get again.

Bought these ER70S-6 TIG welding rods for some mild steel fabrication and repair projects, and I've been very happy with how they perform. The rods arrived straight, clean, and well packaged without excessive oxidation or contamination. The 3/32" diameter is a good all-around size for the type of welding I do. The rods feed smoothly into the puddle, melt consistently, and make it easy to control the amount of filler material being added.I've used them for welding brackets, repairing equipment, and general mild steel fabrication. The weld puddle is easy to control, and the finished welds come out clean with minimal cleanup when the material is properly prepared. The 16-inch length is comfortable to work with, and the 3-pound package provides plenty of filler rod for multiple projects. I also appreciate that the rods don't seem excessively brittle and have remained straight during storage and use.For the price, these perform just as well as other ER70S-6 filler rods I've purchased locally. They strike a good balance between quality, quantity, and cost.Overall, I'm very satisfied with these TIG welding rods. They weld smoothly, produce clean results, and have been consistent from rod to rod. I would definitely purchase them again for future mild steel welding projects.

These TIG rods are OK, they weld about as well as any others I have used in the past (not a professional welder)The rods came well packed and they weight exactly 3lbs out of the package. They are a smidge shorter than 16" so they don't bounce around too much when feeding, but you do end up with more stubs than getting full-length rods. They arrived dirty, so cleaning them is required before use. They are supposed to be stamped whith the grade on one end, but the stamping is very faint and unreadable, so keep them in the pack or lable them some way.The value proposition is the weak point of these. For an unknown brand, they are not as cheap as others. These come out to about $13.50 a pound, which is not that much less than a pound of full length rods at a local supplier.Overall OK, but I wouldn't buy them until they are on sale
