Well suited

[Style: Red-white]
This braided rope is a nice bright color as well as smooth to handle. The rope will be perfect for strapping down a tarp around our boat or dinghy. Great value for the money would definitely buy again.

Flexible yet strongFlexible yet strong

[Style: Blue-white, Style: Blue-white]
During our hot and dry summers, I use shade cloths to cover areas of my garden to keep up good crop production. The LUOPUTUO solid braid rope is a good choice as it will hold up to extreme weather conditions of sun, wind and rain. The low stretch factor of around 2-3% insures my tarps are stable even in gusty wind. The rope rides smooth through my pulleys and ties easily through the shade cloth grommets. I typically use a figure eight knot and the knot releases easily after use.In order to keep the polypropylene rope from unraveling after cutting I use a heated blade on my soldering iron. Not only does this make cutting easy, but it seals the braids as you cut.

Great utility ropes for boating, camping, or tying things down in my truck bed.Great utility rope...

[Style: Blue-white, Style: Blue-white]
I really like the fact that these ropes are very flexible (not a stiff plastic feel), and the finish is smooth (which does not pick up debris if it contacts the ground or pavement. They also have minimal stretch, and hold a knot well without slipping loose. They are plenty long for most needs. They are the perfect thickness - not too heavy and not skinny like paracord. These are going under the seat of my truck so that they are handy for any time I need to tie something down.

2 50ft packs of blue/white Derby rope. Good for 139lbs, smooth to the touch.2 50ft packs of blue/...

[Style: Blue-white, Style: Blue-white]
When you need rope, you need something right away and strong. This is a two pack of 50ft solid braid polypropylene rope. It is 5/16" thick and is rated for 139lbs. Solid braid rope is made by tightly weaving strands together into a solid, uniform core—no twists or hollow center. This makes it strong, low-stretch, flexible, and really durable against wear and abrasion. You can feel how smooth it is on the outside. I have tried to use rope that was really rough on your hands. It is weatherproof, and even though it feels smooth, it is definitely anti slip. Each end comes sealed, so that it doesn't unravel.. The color makes it stand out. "Derby" refers to that bright white/blue pattern. This will be perfect for clothesline and camping. My husband was really thrilled when he saw these two bundles. He has a trailer and is always looking for rope to tie things on. That special solid braid polypropylene composition means that it won't turn brittle as it gets older. Overall, I am really thrilled with these two 50ft rope coils.

Nice supple, workable rope!Nice supple, workable rope!

[Style: Red-white, Style: Red-white]
I use a lot of this rope. It's an ideal size to secure tarps, tents, canoes and the like. All to often people get rope that is overkill for the task, and for the ones who buy twisted or braided polypropylene, yes it floats but knots almost untie themselves. There is also a type of person who uses clothesline for everything...please don't do that. This rope is nice, soft, flexible and strong, so knots and cleats are easy to tie and they hold well. As long as the rope is kept clean it won't abrade the paint or gel coat on a vehicle. The load limit is 139 pounds but I imagine the safety factor is in the 5 to 10 range. A tightly secured load doesn't encounter the breaking forces like a loosely tied load. Simply using the proper rope and knots can make all the difference. This rope is ideal for a truckers hitch or a cleat, something you can pretension with. Obviously if you have a heavy application you'll want to use a ratchet strap, but for many tasks this rope is ideal.

Great Watersport RopeGreat Watersport Rope

[Style: Red-white, Style: Red-white]
You can never have too much rope. I already have tons of rope but most of mine is twisted rope or paracord type stuff. We recently got into kayaking and most of the rope we had was not ideal for watersports. Ropes can be made of many materials with different construction methods for various purposes and this one is ideal for watersports.First of all, size matters. For our purposes here, watersports, skinny rope like paracord would be plenty strong but is just too skinny for comfortable use. The 5/16" is not needed here for strength, but comfort of grip with wet hands. The construction here is also important in that cheaper twisted line tends to be less comfortable to grip than this braided line. This carries over to any time you are handling the rope for any project. The braided thick stuff is just nicer to handle without digging into your hands or the object you are tying.Polypropylene is also great for water as it floats. The red and white stripes that I chose are also excellent for visibility. This material is also resistant to rot and most chemicals. The only real downside is that it is not very UV resistant. Prolonged sun exposure can make it brittle and lose strength so if you need good rope that will stay outdoors long term, this may not be the best. Otherwise, I think this is an excellent choice for watersports or any general use that will not be left outside long term.We received two pieces of rope that were each a little over 51 feet and accurately measured 5/16" diameter. The braiding is nice and tight and I saw no flaws or damage to any of it. The ends are melted to keep if from fraying and the colors are vibrant. It's very soft in the hands and pleasant to use. It seems to be quality made rope and is competitively priced as an affordable all purpose rope.

Solid value for the priceSolid value for the price

[Style: Red-white, Style: Red-white]
Good budget utility rope for light-duty use. The 5/16" size is easy to handle, and the red/white pattern makes it easy to spot outdoors or in storage. It feels soft enough to tie knots without being rough on the hands, but still sturdy for basic household, camping, garage, and yard tasks. The two 50 ft pieces are convenient because you do not have to cut one long rope yourself. The oil, mildew, and abrasion resistance is a nice plus for outdoor use. Just note the 139 lb safe working load, so this is best for general utility use, not climbing, towing, heavy lifting, or safety-critical jobs.Overall, solid value for the price.
