I really like how lightweight and breathable these gloves are. They have a good tactile feel and gave me enough dexterity to work with nuts, bolts, and washers without feeling confined or like I was losing control of the small parts.I ordered the XL because I have large hands, but I think I would probably go with a large next time for a tighter fit. The feel is almost a cross between a latex glove and a traditional work glove—they provide that close-to-the-hand feel while still giving you more of a work-glove feel and some protection.I tend to avoid wearing gloves when working on hot, humid days because my hands get sweaty and uncomfortable. These gloves worked surprisingly well in that situation. Even on a hotter, humid day, my hands stayed considerably more comfortable than they typically would in heavier work gloves.For warmer-weather work where you still want to wear gloves without feeling like your hands are trapped in something heavy and sweaty, I think these are a very good solution.

These gloves feel surprisingly thin and flexible for the level of protection they provide. The fit is close to the hand, so it’s easy to grip tools and handle smaller items without the bulky feeling of heavier work gloves. I also like the reinforced area between the thumb and index finger, since that is usually where gloves wear out first. The coated palm gives a secure grip, and the black finish hides dirt well. A practical choice for automotive work, warehouse tasks, construction, or other jobs where you want cut protection while still being able to move your hands comfortably.

These gloves seem really strong. Although I haven't tested them to confirm their cut-resistance, the material feels safe. My husband uses this brand for his lawn care business and he is looking forward to trying these gloves for other projects. He appreciates that their size XL is a true XL and fits large hands. I appreciate that the gloves still work for me and my smaller hands.The amount of gloves for the price is a great deal.

These gloves, like the other cut-resistant miracle products that I've tried in recent years, would not succumb to my pocket knife. I used fairly hard pressure with the blade on the palm, on the fingers, and on the backs of these gloves. The fabric completely resisted cutting and in fact showed no change. The palm coating similarly seemed unchanged. Where the coating was thicker on a finger, I did manage to scratch the coating but that was it. The scratched area would not peel though I did try to peel it, and the area's protective performance seemed unhindered by the scratch. Thus, these gloves passed my amateur test for cut resistance with a high grade.This cut-resistant technology is pretty miraculous in how effective it is. These gloves take it further by being much thinner than other gloves. While I cannot test exactly whether these meet an "A4" standard of cut resistance, I see no reason to think they do not.It is remarkable how thin these gloves are. If not for the excellent cut and abrasion resistance, I would never have guessed that they are protective gloves. The benefits of the thinness are several. First, they are easy to don and remove. Second, the hands do not get as hot in hot conditions. Third, dexterity is better. I was able to type on a laptop keyboard and to operate its touch pad with gloves on. Not as easily as with gloves off, but okay for short spurts of input. These gloves are great for work that requires feel, like threading nuts onto bolts.The fit is excellent. I tried on all twelve pairs and they all fit exactly the same. Quality control was excellent as inspecting twelve pairs I could not find a single flaw.The cuff is extra long, which I like. To fully extend the cuff if desired takes an extra moment as it tends to bunch up when donning. Not a serious drawback and to me much better to have the extra length than not. The reinforced thumb crotch is an excellent feature. It also makes handling sheet goods like plywood more comfortable.These gloves are a great design and consistently high quality across all twelve pairs. The fit is snug, but with good stretch in the fabric, the gloves are not fatiguing. The protection from scrapes and cuts is outstanding given the thinness. Comfort is top notch, though I've only worn them for relatively short periods.Finally, at under $5 per pair when buying 12, I find the value to exceed what I've seen in competing cut-resistant products. If I ever run out, I'd consider purchasing these.

When I was younger, a pair of “work gloves” meant heavy leather gloves with good protection against rough surfaces, but limited hand mobility. These work gloves will protect against rough surfaces plus have the added benefit of being lightweight and flexible. The finger flexibility is really pretty good. It was possible to pick up a small screw and its washer with no problem while wearing the gloves. The fabric is somewhat breathable so they can be worn comfortably for a fairly long time.I thought I was ordering the size medium for myself because the description said to order a size up if you’re between sizes. In my case, I would have to disagree with that advice. The gloves are too big for me in both the palm size and the finger length. They are, in fact, so big on my hands that I can’t really wear them comfortably. However, the good news is that they fit my husband’s hands. If I had been ordering these gloves for him, I would have ordered a size large. But the medium fits. So now I’m thinking it would be advisable to order a size down rather than a size up.The gloves are reasonably priced. The cut resistant material with the reinforcement between the thumb and the first finger means they should perform well for a long time. I knocked off one star because of the sizing issue.

After a traumatic injury as a child when fishing and getting a hook caught deep in my hand, I now fish with gloves on. I like to use work gloves because they sport cut resistant features!Sure, some anglers may not think that’s all that cool or manly to wear gloves but I’m a believer in protecting your hands and if I get them wet, I always bring a backup. In fact, I purchase inexpensive work gloves like I buy my rods and reels and sunshirts, it’s something I depend on.I do have strict rules and that is that the fit is not too tight (I get size large) and it provides protection, especially with those treble hooks.I had the opportunity to use the COOLJOB A4 AIR-SKIN Cut Resistant Work Gloves. These gloves are rated ANSI 4 (out of 9). Which means they are medium cut resistance. They are 21-gauge cut resistant gloves.My purpose is fishing and as I mentioned, had a traumatic experience as a kid when I went fishing and getting a hook embedded in my hand. And since then, this year alone, I don’t know how many times gloves have protected my hand (especially from treble hooks from lures).These gloves, I went fishing with them and they fit perfectly. But I actually did a few tests as I had to switch over a few rigs and lures over the weekend and there were a few times that could have made me bled but the gloves actually did well from protecting me from getting jabbed on the palm of my hand, but even the top (which doesn’t have the protective portion but nevertheless, still protected my hand). And in another instance, had a small mishap where my line got caught on my alarm line detector and I had to reel in a big carp by hand and thank goodness I had these gloves because I have literally cut my hands when I was foolish not to wear gloves and had to pull in a huge catfish by line and cut my finger. Another is going through steep inclines with jagged, thorny weeds while fishing in certain spots. Again, always a reminder for me of the importance of having gloves when I fish.And last, if you live in hot areas and don’t want sun exposure on your hand, another positive as I’m always practicing UV protection via neck gaiter, hat, hoodie, gloves, long sleeve sunshirts, etc. as I have known people who have contracted skin cancer from outdoor exposure and not protecting themselves good enough.But for the most part, while ANSI 4 may be overkill for fishing but I am glad I have that extra protection. They provide extra protection that can be used for other types of jobs, especially if you do a lot of cutting, construction or industrial work.At under $10, it's a sweet spot for work gloves. But so worth it for the extra protection. The COOLJOB A4 AIR-SKIN Cut Resistant Work Gloves are recommended!

I am a DIYer and tackle a multitude of projects that require good protective and durable gloves, so I ordered these. They look cool and the fit is great, not too tight and not too loose. I've had the opportunity to test these gloves while working on an outdoor project. I have been using them to handle jagged rocks and tearing out tree roots while using a variety of hand and power tools. I must say that they have held up very well. I have worn these gloves for about 8 hours of work. And so far, no cuts or tears in the gloves, however as you can see in the pictures, the rubber between the thumb and forefinger is starting to separate. But no cuts or scratches on my hands and my hands have not gotten hot and sweaty while wearing them. All in all, I think these gloves are protective and durable. Although, I do believe that they are a little on the expensive side.

It can be really difficult to find a pair of gloves that fit well. These gloves are a perfect fit for XL. The proportions of hand size and finger length are just right. They are snug enough to allow fine control and grip of small objects while still being roomy enough to be comfortable.The rubber material on the fingers works on my phone screen, which is a nice bonus.Rubber palm gloves are my favorite for comfort and dexterity, but the downside is that they can get cut through easily when handling sharp edges / objects. Having cut resistant rubber palm gloves is a great compromise instead of switching to bulky leather gloves.The hard part is deciding what cut level is needed. These are A4 rated, which is toward the high end of light duty. In my use, the back (no rubber coating) cut easily with a sharp chisel and not much pressure. This is one of the compromises of having a glove that breathes to help keep your hands cool. The rubber portion was much more resistant to cutting. Definitely a big upgrade in protection from bare hands and standard work gloves.As long as you are using them within the expectations and limitations for A4, they perform well.
