This barn door latch is nice.I like the fact that it came with its own hardware. It is a simple twist design and a welcomed upgrade to my previous latch.It seems very sturdy and very well-made. The metal is aluminum alloy so it’s not incredibly heavy, but definitely durable.I love the black color. It will pop nicely against my white doors. Overall, I really like this product. It's easy to turn and I have no doubt it will function as intended once installed and provide the necessary security needed.At around $10 when ordered, this is a good value. Recommend.

I have a basement door on a property that's more like a gate than a door, it had an eye hook previously, and has been retained by a broken piece of concrete block for years now.So I got this latch to upgrade that. It's smooth, it's snug, it does the job, which for a basic items is exactly that one looks for.Although it is aluminum, the included screws are magnetic, and don't appear coated, so I expect them to rust unfortunately. Mounting hardware is often an afterthought sadly, instead of providing proper outdoor rated screws.Would I recommend this latch? If you plan to provide your own screws.

I really like this lock!
