This is a very decent and solid soldering iron kit. It has several good features such as adjustable temperature control , comes with several tips and also a rest stand to put the iron on for when it’s hot.The kit comes with all the parts you need to get started so I would definitely consider it an excellent value for the money. It’s also nice that it came in a carrying case to store everything because some of the parts are quite small and would most certainly get lost if not kept all together in one place.Overall this is a great kit to get if you’re looking to get started soldering , and want everything you need already on hand.

7/28/26 - The review is for the 90W Digital Soldering Iron Kit with Carrying Case. The product came as described. As the description and picture indicate, it has everything needed for soldering except flux and brass coil cleaning wire. Flux can be purchased from a local hardware store. The cleaning wire can be found on Amazon. The soldering iron worked way better than my expectation. It's 90W at ~$27 which is a great deal. It's not a professional soldering iron but it works well enough for home hobby needs. There are no instructions, so I did have to look up the temperature setting needed. I had to solder a couple of trigger buttons for my garage door remote. I dipped the wire in flux and applied it to the PWB pads. The soldering iron melts the solder very fast and I was able to attach the wire like a professional soldering iron. I used the dry wick for excess solder. Everything worked pretty well.The cons: Well, the weight and the plastic does feel cheap, and as mentioned, it's not a professional soldering iron...* The digital temperature setting is indicated on the handle which makes the unit compact. When I adjusted the temp, the "+" button got stuck but I pressed it again to unstick it.* The base is very light and weighs less than the soldering iron and wire. I was working in the study room that had a hardwood floor. When I unplugged the iron, the base was so light that the iron fell to the ground and caused a burn mark on the floor. So be very careful not to cause a safety incident. I do plan on adding some weight to it.* There's a product description on temp cal and switching between C and F by pressing both + and - buttons either immediately or wait after "888" after power on. So Instructions would have been nice.Overall, it's a great cost-effective soldering iron kit that comes with almost everything needed.

This set is for creative hobby crafts, DIY home electronics, and education.If you compare this to professional grade tools you will be disappointed.The soldering iron worked quite well, it quickly got quite hot and was retaining the heat while desoldering. I was able to remove a broken USB port on my pc and replace it with a new one without much hassle. The included rolls of solder and desolder were a nice touch.I wholeheartedly recommend purchasing flux if you are getting into soldering, it is your lifeline.The majority of tools in this kit were serviceable especially for someone learning or for a small project.**** Definitely recommend this kit if you want to get into this hobby, your limit is creativity and skill. This will definitely help you find what you like, before you upgrade from here.

This soldering kit includes everything you need to start soldering. It includes the iron, stand, tweezers, solder sucker, wire stripper, extra tips, solder and braid. And it has a nice case too. The soldering iron is cheap. But it works well. It has a temp adjustment, a temp display, and a power switch. Those controls elevate this iron a bit over those that just plug in and have no controls. And this iron comes up to temperature quickly. I solder a lot. And have a couple of very expensive solder stations from Weller, etc. However, I have a couple of these inexpensive irons as well. I keep one in my RV. And I keep another in my workshop to help me manually change out smd components on my PCBs. Doing so takes two soldering irons. And having a second Weller station on my bench is clunky and expensive. I used to use a fixed temp inexpensive Weller iron when I needed a second one. But that proved somewhat clunky and ineffective. No temp control. And no power switch, which forced me to plug and unplug the iron between uses. This one, and the others like it, is small, and compact. And I can control the temp, which is important for my work. And I can turn it on and off without plugging it in and out of the electric socket. So this iron has been very handy for me. It is made well enough. I would hesitate to run this iron for very long periods of time, or at too hot of temperature, as it could melt the plastic body of the iron. I have read of that occurring in the reviews of other irons similar to this one. But I have not encountered that so far. I have used this iron at 700F for short sessions without issue. Overall this is a good entry level iron. And it includes a comprehensive starter kit of tools and supplies. If you need a spare soldering kit, or you are a beginner looking for a starter kit, this is a decent option.

Nice kit with many accessories. The soldering tool does heat up quicky but that is not the usable tip. The heat from the heating element will take time to travel to the tip regardless what the temperature says on the barrel. Plug it in to heat up ahead of time. Of course you have to use the stand for this.This is my biggest grip on this kit. The stand is not stable. It relies on the cord being on your workbench to support some of the weight at the very minimum. I almost burned myself in the video as power cord was off the keyboard tray as I was filming and the whole assembly was going to go down. My solution is to 3D print a base that come out more towards me and possibly the sides so center of gravity is not over the edge of the back.Sponge is nice but I find it funny that it is not installed and nor cut to proper size.This would be good for a beginner. I do not remember getting a solder pickup tool with any basic solder kit. Tweezers and wire insulation cutter was a nice touch. There is an extra 5 tips included as well as solder and de-soldering wick to absorb extra solder.This is an inexpensive kit that packs many surprising items. I am very impressed with the ability to control the temperature at the tip. But in the end, I cannot get past the iron stand low weight/ high center of gravity. It is plain dangerous. Maybe it could be glued on a tile??

I ordered this digital soldering iron kit to replace my current older soldering iron that does not work correctly anymore. Another reason I ordered this digital soldering iron kit is because "it's a kit". Everything I need to solder is included in this kit.Included in this digital soldering iron kit is the digital soldering iron itself, an instruction manual (in 4 languages), a nice soft carrying case, lead free solder with flux, de-soldering wicks, 5 additional soldering tips, a soldering stand, a de-soldering pump, a mini-wire cutter, and anti-static tweezers. My old soldering iron was just a soldering iron and some solder line. So this is a big improvement for me as far as soldering goes.This soldering iron has a digital display for precise control of temperatures for melting solder, this will come in handy for me when working on a computer motherboard in my computer room. The LED display can also be displayed in Fahrenheit or Celsius degrees which is great. This solder iron is also fast heating so it cuts down on the waiting time for the solder iron to heat up. I also finally have a solder iron stand to place a solder iron in when it's hot and not worry about something accidentally getting burned (like my computer table). I'm not sure I will be using everything in this kit but it's good to know that they are in the kit just in case I do.Overall this is a very nice digital solder iron kit, with lots of accessories all housed in a nice soft case. The soft case keeps all the soldering iron accessories in one place - "in the case" when not being used. I'm glad I ordered this digital soldering iron kit and highly recommend it.
