Easy Fix for Loose Cabinet Hinges

[Number of Items: 8]
These repair plates are an easy and inexpensive way to fix cabinet hinges when the original screw holes are stripped or damaged. The stainless steel plates are sturdy, the multiple mounting holes make installation simple, and the included screws save a trip to the hardware store. I also use them for loose hinges on storage cabinets and other furniture instead of replacing the entire door. At $9.99 for 8 plates, this is a great value and a handy kit to keep around for quick repairs.

Fixed my cabinets

My kitchen cabinets were loose and this solved it completely — didn’t even need to drill new holes to make it work. Steel feels good quality, and the fix seems like it’ll hold up long-term. Great value, especially since we only needed two for our fix and now have extras on hand for next time.

I recently got the 8PCS Cabinet Hinge Repair Plate from TDYBASE, and I couldn't be more pleased. Our kitchen cupboard doors were sagging and not closing properly due to worn-out hinges, which was quite frustrating. The installation was straightforward. The stainless steel plates are sturdy and feel like they will last a long time. They come with all the necessary fixing screws, making the setup hassle-free. I simply removed the old hinges, aligned the repair plates, and secured them in place and they fit perfect. What impressed me most was how seamlessly these plates blended in with our cabinet design. They are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. After installation, my cupboard doors now close perfectly, and the added support from the plates gives me confidence that they will hold up well. They're great value. If you’re dealing with cabinet doors that need a little extra love, I highly recommend the TDYBASE hinge repair plates.

I use these stainless steel hinge repair plates to fix cabinet doors where the screw holes are stripped or the hinge area is damaged. They are a practical repair option because they reinforce the weak spot instead of replacing the whole cabinet door. The included screws make the repair more straightforward.

Doors hanging straight again

[Number of Items: 8]
My kitchen cabinets are at least 30 years old, and their centers are made of particle board, so three of them were hanging on their hinges. This batch of brackets solved the problem. I had to study the photos to see how to orient them, and then I was able to figure out why all those holes were there. At first, I thought they were there as a recommendation to use a lot of screws, but having the cabinet doors in different states of disrepair, I figured out that all the holes are there so that you can secure the plates in the exact places where your door is still intact since the particle board breaks down in a different place for each hinge. They're pretty big. In size; they remind me of the electrical boxes that go around your light switches, so they're not particularly attractive, but they get the job done, and I might go over them with some paint someday. The plates themselves are thick and sturdy, and they are doing a great job at holding the hinges and doors in place. I feel very confident now when I swing the doors opened and closed whereas I hd to gingerly lift and place the doors so as to not damage the one remaining hinge holding them in place before the repair. The only thing I would say is to carefully study the dimensions. I imagine that these might not fit all types of hinges because the cutout area is a pretty specific shape, so just study the photos before ordering.

Unfortunately, I don't think these will work for the project I currently need them for. The screws are definitely small as well. The material is stainless steel but you can probably find better and more cost effective options at your local hardware store.

We have heavy, pressed wood cabinet doors and the hinges had been replaced and/or repaired many times because the weight of the doors is too much for the hinges to handle over time and heavy use, and the attempts to repair didn't work.We got these hinges to provide support to the hinges and hopefully straighten out our doors. And I'm happy to report they worked! They're fairly easy to install: just place the plate in the correct spot, screw the hinge back in, as well as the four outer screws. Now you have support from the plate, installed by four screws in new locations. In our case, this plate holds the weight of the doors much better and allows for a straight alignment. The material of the plate seems durable, though a lot of the edges have rough cuts. Also, even though the plates have a protective film, most were heavily scratched and scuffed up on both sides. It's not a huge deal, but they are visible (and quite large) on the inside of the cabinet so in places where you can see the inside of your cabinets prominently this may bug you.At $10 for 8 hinges, these are a great value for the utility they provide.
