Perfect little light of you already have dewalt batteries. I keep a little 2ah battery on it all the time for when I need a light in the back of my van or on a job.I haven’t used it as a charger, but I’m happy it has the capability.

I purchased this pure sine wave inverter to power my mobile DJ cart. This is only powering the cart electronics, not my speakers, and my total draw is around 75 watts—well below the advertised 240-watt rating.It will power my setup for roughly two hours, but there are a couple of issues that keep me from rating it higher. Even though it is advertised as pure sine wave, I still get a noticeable amount of hum in my audio system.The bigger issue is heat. After running for a while, the inverter gets hot enough that the cooling fans go to high speed, and eventually it can shut down on over-temperature protection. Considering my load is only around 75 watts, I expected it to handle continuous operation much better.I ended up keeping it because I let the return window expire, and it still has some usefulness. It works as an emergency backup, and the USB outputs are handy for charging devices from my DeWalt 20V batteries.For occasional use or charging, it’s okay. For continuously powering sensitive audio equipment, I would look for something better.It works, but between the hum, heat, and price for what you get, it’s a 3-star product for me.

This product does what the brand ndne couldn't. For some reason brand name uses modified sine wave, that some electrical equipment doesn't like. This inverter being a true sine, powers up items the other struggled at. And it is half the cost.

I have an off grid home. I have generators, solar panels, and a lot of 20 V max lights, vacuums, tools, and rechargeable fans that I use to stay comfortable. I’m constantly charging something or better yet, dozens of something. This little mini inverter has been lifesaver! I have about 15 DeWalt 20 V max batteries. With this little inverter, I can run everything off of those batteries for days at a time. Then I simply take my four bank, DeWalt battery charger and hook it to the solar charger and charge all of them at once. Using this has saved me tons of money with not having to run my generator. It’s well built, I love the digital displays, easy to use and incredibly efficient, especially at charging cell phones or small rechargeable fans. I feel at the current price of just under $60, it’s a little bit pricey. Particularly compared to some others that are out there on the market. That being said, there’s a saying that you get what you pay for. Hopefully this lasts a long time and out performs the others. I’ll never know as this is the only one I have ordered, but I’m going to hope that’s the case.If you have an off grid home, are camping or just need a bug out bag, this is a perfect compact, lightweight accessory to take with you that will make your life much more comfortable. Particularly if you’re like me and you own a lot of DeWalt tools and already have over a dozen batteries to run off of this.
