The ShineSeed Dusk to Dawn outdoor wall lights were pretty simple to install. Their appearance is sleek and modern looking especially at dusk when they first turn on. They are nice and bright when they turn on and lights up the back yard very nicely. The reliability of them are fantastic, it definitely helps put my mind at ease when coming in the door at night because of safety reasons. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is needing wall lighting for outside.

At the time of review, the price was $59.99. It seems to be correctly priced for the value it provides.My initial assessment was that the cylindrical design appeared sleek and modern, contributing a clean, minimalistic aesthetic. The fixtures seemed to be constructed from high-quality, thickened aluminum, which gave them a sturdy and durable feel. Regarding reliability, the IP65 weatherproofing and an estimated 50,000-hour LED lifespan indicate a product designed for year-round outdoor performance, and the integrated dusk-to-dawn sensor operated as anticipated. Installation proved straightforward with the included hardware and instructions, particularly when replacing existing fixtures and utilizing pre-wired junction boxes. The 12W 3000K warm white light offered sufficient brightness (1400 lumens) for illumination without being harsh, producing an effective up-down lighting effect. So. I must have misread the description when I requested these... I thought they were solar powered outdoor lights and they're not. You have to wire them to the house and then I believe they turn on and off automatically with light sensitive sensors. Right now, we are renting where we are staying, but we own a house not too far away... so I'll see about convincing my husband to go ahead and install these by the front door and back door. Life has just been super crazy that it's low on the priority list. But once things level out, I can write an updated review with pictures of the installed product. And! If they do work well, I'll likely order another set so we can set up matching lights by the garage.....Unfortunately, though, at this time... I can not provide honest feedback based on installation (though the instructions made it seem very easy), resistance to water and weather in general, the quality of the Light itself, appearance (though, I think they'll look great once installed, part of why I chose these was because they looked sleeved and minimalistic), and anything else that I may be missing due to lack of proper use.My only complaint for giving 4 stars was when I read it, it did seem like it was more solar-powered than it was for electrical installation. So the description could have been a bit more clear (or I could have just re-read it several times🤦‍♀️).

These are outdoor modernist wall lights that look like simple round cylinders, with light coming out of each end. In reality, each light has 12 W of LED power at 3000° Kelvin. They are waterproof, made of aluminum, and for exterior use only, porch lights, entryway, or garage. These cylinder lights come with dust-to-dawn sensors, so no indoor switch wiring is required.These lights save you money immediately because you do not need to wire in an on-off switch to control them. This is because they come with the dusk-to-dawn sensor built in. The manufacturer suggests that these lights give premium high-efficiency C08 LEDs. Tremendously and energy efficient and have a clear glass cover to protect them from the elements. These lights also have a long service life of 50,000 hours. 50,000 hours during normal evening use would work out to about 10 years before they would need to be replaced.It’s a thickened aluminum wall that's IP65-certified and weatherproof. But of course, assuming you already have junction boxes in place and wired to your home, we wanna put these two lights in; if not, it becomes more complicated.If you do plan to do the installation yourself, which you can do, I strongly urge you to make certain that if there are existing junction boxes involved, you’ve made certain the power is turned off to those junction boxes at the circuit breaker level, at the local switch level.You should also have an electoral testing device. I always carry one. It looks like a red pen when you push the top of the pen, and the red light goes on if you bring the tip of the pen near a wire that’s energized. It starts chirping like a bird, and the lights start flashing, so you know the wire is energized without actually touching it.Peace Bites have installed plates on the back, which you can remove attached to the junction box throughout the wire for the hole in the center. Connect them to the wire coming from the light fixture, push them all back into the waterproof junction box, and then connect the base of the fixture to the install plate.And without outdoor installations, I always recommend applying a bead of silicone along the entire exterior of the space between the fixture box and the wall. This helps seal out rain and insects.
