This blade chews through concrete and aggregate without any problems at all. I put the blade to the test today to see how well it worked on the cracks in my driveway and it did not disappoint. I have cracks that I want to open up so I can patch them and this blade is just what I needed especially with how fast it cuts through the concrete. This Diamond blade is sold at a very reasonable price considering the quality of the build and the longevity of the blade. I have a lot of work ahead of me which is made easier by this Diamond blade and I would highly recommend it.

The first thing I noticed with this RHAPSODY 4.5" Diamond Crack Chaser Blade is how thick and heavy it is. Very substantial! It is easily 1/4" in width and its 4 1/2 inch diameter with an arbor hole 5/8 - 7/8 inch will fit our angle grinder. We have cracks in our driveway that need to be repaired. I prefer to use wet sanding with concrete as i feel it works better in preserving the blade and helps remove the debris. It is nice to know that this diamond blade can also be used dry. The spacing of the segments will also help in keeping it cooler. The blade's 4 1/2" diameter with an angle grinder will speed up cutting cracks since it will be easier to control than a larger blade. For the quality of this blade, I feel that it price is a good value, especially if it makes the job easier.

The has always been a crack. From near the SE corner running west out the garage door and to the first garage bay to the drive way where there was once a bad repair for a poor pour or it could have been rain damaged pour. A quick fix by the builder turned to white powder in 20 years was gone. The crack and this area are unchanged from 30 years no bigger no shifting but for the supposed repair being gone and a couple of stones the got loose. Its 1/2 inch depth makes a proper repair take several days. Apparently the builder was in a hurry with the soft "quick dry" fix. In any case this gouging wheel came along just as I was mustering the resources to fix the crack all the way across the garage bay. Hide the rest under the wood floor. Once and done with this Vee notch making cutting wheel. I am ready to erase another poorly done cheap shoddy job in this tract home.

I recently received the RHAPSODY 4.5" Diamond Crack Chaser Blade to tackle some cracked concrete on my cement patio, and it has performed well. This blade quickly cuts through cement with medium-size aggregate, making it easy to follow existing cracks with good control. It leaves a nice, clean V-groove that's a good width for the patch material I plan to use.The 1/4" cutting width is wide enough for proper sealant penetration but not so aggressive that it's hard to manage on a hand-held grinder. I've got about 45 feet of cracks to repair across the patio, and this blade is already making short work of the job. I've been a contractor for 35 years and used many similar products. For items like this it really boils down to two issues: does it fit properly on the tool, and does it have decent diamonds at a fair percentage.Is it the best I've ever used? Nope. But they don't skimp on the diamonds, they seem properly embedded in the core material, and the blank is not an unbalanced piece of garbage with a hole that does not fit properly on the tool shaft... And yes I have purchased myself and reviewed many products that right from the factory clearly do not work as intended!!So you can either pay four times as much with not much extra a parent value, or get this product at a fair price to do the job it claims.

This is an excellent and well designed diamond blade. These segments are very thick, quarter of an inch as stated in ad. The segment widths are very big, 1/2-in! This blade should wear and last a long time. The diamond impregnating segments, which is the real meal deal on these things, are well made and impregnated nicely. You can definitely use this on an angle grinder to chase a crack or prevent a crack by putting your own grooves in your concrete. It does come with a very tight fitting arbor adapter. The diameter is actually correct, some say they're four and a half inch and they're really four and a quarter. This looks very durable nice steel thick. One thing to note when you're cutting concrete or grinding it, water always makes it work much better. But often isn't practical. This thing will make a lot of dust so be sure and have your vacuum handy or running while you're using it. Be sure and wear a dust mask. And some eye protection please. This blade should give you a lot of service. While I'm normally a fan of larger diameter blades to get jobs done, this diameter is good for not overloading your angle grinder since you'll be working it very hard on concrete. This blade is definitely a great value when you consider the price for the amount of diamond material you get. The braze segments are very well attached. It does have the nice v angle to make the correct grind for chasing a crack or preventing them. As for depth of cut when you're grinding, this really depends on many factors including the type of concrete your grinding and the PSI rating of the amount of cement that was in the concrete. Some concrete slabs require a very deep groove to prevent cracking other than where you're grinding this relief.
